Going by how much fun the previous incarnations were, Shadow Warrior 2 or Dishonored 2.
Shadow Warrior because it was action packed, had a decent enough story, great variety in levels and it felt fair.
Dishonored because it had lots of freedom in gameplay, seen clips of some highly skilled people doing crazy stunts, also had a decent enough story.
Hopefully the sequels will live up to their predecessors. :)

I don't think that any pre-sale game will ever get a discount, there's no need for them to do so. Also voting for games that aren't released yet is kinda pointless because I have no way to assess if they're good or not.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with any of the games Telltale has published, so +1 for Batman if you're into nice storytelling and I haven't played much of it but so far I like what Shadow Warrior 2 had to offer, a nice and simple "kill and blow up everything you see"-experience. :s
If you wanna go easy on your wallet you could also get Virginia, even if I haven't played it yet it looks like a nice story and kinda reminds me of Twin Peaks in a way (but I could be wrong about that :P).
But that doesn't mean the others you mentioned are bad, for a fact I got them all on my WL ;D, but these are the ones that interest me the most atm.

Virginia actually looks like a police version of Firewatch. xD
Thanks for your answer and, yeah, I understand. :/

I am disappointed by the lack or should I say absence of cool small indie games on that list. Anyway I'd say go with Shadow Warrior 2. It's going to have proceduraly generated levels and weapons and it's most likely going to be super-awesome with a lot of replayability value. It might not have a very interesting story though, but Shadow Warrior games aren't known for their story and you have it on your wishlist anyway so I'll assume you don't mind that.
Comment has been collapsed.
I have played many indie games. My favorite genre is adventure point and click. And I'm a hardcore fan of Daedalic Entertainment. I try to keep my wishlist short. And I can buy indie games whenever I want. Are these excuses enough? :P
I mostly care about the storyline, but Shadow Warrior was a damn awesome game, if you ask me!
Comment has been collapsed.
The original Shadow Warrior is one of my favorite FPS games ever made. The reboot from 2013 was crap though. I bought it because I wanted first person shooter and what I got was first person hack and slash with abilities (because the weapons dealt so little damage there was no point in using them over katana).
Comment has been collapsed.
I liked the messages, Wang's comments, and the dialogues too. xD And the sword moves were awesome. :O I kept using my katana against every monster. >:D

South Park - gameplay would be mediocre but it will have "southpark humor" :)
Good story + good graphics + good gameplay? I suppose that Dishonored 2 should have those tributes :)
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't like the South Park tv series, but I loved the first game. xD I care about its storyline and its awesome fights, not really for its humor.
Yeah, Dishonored 2 indeed looks cool.

I tried Far Cry Primal on PS4. It's really a nice game, the gameplay is not so different from the others Far Cry, but it's really refreshing to play during prehistory. It was a very easy game at the beggining, but they've added a Survivor mode quite challenging.
I didn't try anything else, but if I could, I would buy South Park The Fractured But Whole. I loved the first one, and would have played it again and again if my backlog was not so huge. If you like the serie, then you will love the game.
Comment has been collapsed.
Far Cry 4 was top, for me! ^_^ I hope that Primal is at least half as good as that.
I also loved the first South Park game. I don't like the tv series though.

personally i want to pick CIV VI, but from the game you play a lot, i think Dishonored 2 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Shadow Warrior 2 will do
Comment has been collapsed.
well, because a lot of your most play time game is about action game, not 4X/grand strategy ....etc
With 32h play time of Deus Ex , clearly finsih the game , what stop you from playing the second ? . If you like Deus Ex, you definetly gonna like Dishonored 2 , which on principal, it the same ,stealth, different approach oh how to solve a situation. ..etc ...etc
And Shadow warrrior,2 ... who don;t like a mindless demon slashing fun ?
Comment has been collapsed.
One thing: never trust my playtime. xD So, don't suggest me games because of my playtime.
I mostly prefer Dishonored 2, among these 3. I just hope it doesn't include any timed missions.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't care about the in-game songs (except in Verdun and in Brutal Legend). :P You think it'll get a discount in the Halloween sale?
Comment has been collapsed.
yes, you should but a very small one, by the way you would get it cheaper here.
Also i wouldnt recommend to buy 60$ games or something like new games the first days you can buy it. The price normally go a bit lower. Also i dont know much about the other games you proposed.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'm not sure if I understood. So, they will have a small discount during Halloween Sale, even though they're in the pre-order phase?
Comment has been collapsed.
Both have interesting gameplay and completely opposite of each other, one has the merciless killing of demons and mindless hunting Whereas, on the other hand, you have stealth and a pretty good storyline with a good lineage to follow.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't like mindless games. I like thinking. But still, who doesn't like chopping monsters with katanas? xD
Comment has been collapsed.
I was going to buy FC Primal but in the end decided not to as it just seemed to be more of the same but with spears and axes instead of guns. I bought and finished Mankind Divided and enjoyed it, its cheap on cdkeys. I bought The Devils Daughter and after finishing the first case im kinda torn, you dont really get any kind of resolution, cant say to much without spoiling it, the game just moves on to the next case, again this is cheap on cdkeys. Cant speak for others i havent played or the games that havent been released yet. As i footnote im looking forward to the release of Mafia III, wont be pre-ordering, not after NMS, so ill wait and see how its recieved before i decide to buy or not. Good luck choosing and i hope you enjoy whatever you finally decide upon.
Comment has been collapsed.
I'll get Mafia III, don't worry about that. I have won it. :P Btw, you think I should get Mafia III season pass? I only care about story dlcs, just saying. So, what do you suggest? XD
Comment has been collapsed.
I'll probably get the game in around a day, so when I install it, I'll let you know. ;P It surely looks cool! :O And I want to get the season pass, but I don't want to spend money in something that may not be good. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
Maybe you're correct and I should just wait. I don't wanna throw my money in the garbage can by buying shit. xD
Comment has been collapsed.
Both Shadow Warrior and Dishonored were great games. Since the sequels are not out yet, there are no guarantees that they will be good and I actually don't advise to preorder games: it's always better to wait for the finished product to be out and see how it's received by the community. Still, the other games aren't (IMO, ofc) interesting enough to be played so if I have to limit myself to your list, I'd go with those two
Comment has been collapsed.
I vote for Sherlock Holmes and Dishonored 2.
I vote for Sherlock because, although there are other detective games out there, it is a genre that hasnt been done to death. Its story rich and choices matter, which means it will probably be a meaningful gaming experience.
I vote for Dishonored 2 because the first one was so brilliant to me. There was story, but the strategic options for gameplay with so many secrets is just what I like.
Good luck in choosing.
Comment has been collapsed.
True that. Really awesome answer. :D
I love solving murders, so Sherlock seems cool, but I haven't heard the best about this game. :P
Dishonored 2 seems cool. I just hope it won't have any timed missions. I hate timed missions. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
King's Quest - Season Pass probably. Or Syberia 3 since I loved the earlier games in the franchise. I'll be honest though I don't like a single other game in your wishlist. :P Seems more like a hatelist for me. :O
Comment has been collapsed.
Cool choices, I like your taste. I understand, I try to keep my wishlist small and mostly with expensive games. My favorite genre is adventure point and click. And why you hate Virginia? o.O
Comment has been collapsed.
Nice!! , adventures are one of my favorite genre too, indeed. :) Well I don't hate it... That was a poor choice of words. It's probably decent, and it's still an adventure after all in its core, so I guess you wouldn't go wrong with it and I did see in a review that it has david lynch vibes so there's that, those are some interesting prospects.
It's just that I always feel that we have so little time to play so many games out there, that I literally think that I owe it to myself to play/try only the best of the best. No time to try more than that really. That's all. So I'm always super selective. Or at least I try to... This automatically makes me ban some genres of games (action is a big no-no for me), but also more titles than one would think.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I'm also selective, that's why I have a small wishlist. xD But I buy other games too, even if they're not in my wishlist. Cheap games are never in my wishlist, because I can just buy them whenever I want. I would never spend time to play a game that I don't like though. I wouldn't even give it a second chance.
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree but price is really irrelevant man. I've personally discovered that it's the last thing that matters. Overall ratings and reviews are so much more easier to trust. I've found gems even in free or super cheap games that lasted me for even 10 times the playtime of super expensive games. Price is truly not what defines a good game imo, at least not necessarily. I've found great games in all price ranges during the last 3 decades. And great graphics/production values don't necessarily bring engaging gameplay along with it, sadly. Some times it can happen, but more often than not many of those games are overpriced and overrrated. But yeah, same here, would never spend time on a game I don't like. Why would you? Time is precious. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
You didn't understand what I meant. When I say that cheap games aren't in my wishlist, I mean that I just avoid to put them there, not that I avoid to buy them. xD My favorite genre is adventure point and click, so you can understand that I loved many cheap games. So, you can understand that I don't care about the prices of games, because I mostly like the cheap ones.
Comment has been collapsed.
I liked them. But will Civilization 6 be any different than its predecessor? I hope so. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
I really enjoyed all Telltale games so far, so I'd rather go for that one. :)
Comment has been collapsed.
But still, that doesn't mean Batman will be good. :P Although, Batman is so awesome everywhere. ^_^
Comment has been collapsed.
Nooooo. :O Even in the shitty Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, Batman was the only one to play well.
Comment has been collapsed.
I disagree. Batman was pretty silly in that movie.
Spoiler-alert:
Why in hell did he make Superman responsible for the victims of that battle? He knows that it wasn't intentional. And if only Superman's might justifies wanting to kill him, because he could potentially turn against everyone else, how could he justify his own existence?
Not to mention that without Superman protecting people, humans would be much more endangered.
And Ben Afleck showed one of his weakest performances imho.
And just for clarity: I love Batman. The more I'm annoyed when they do such terrible stuff with him.
Comment has been collapsed.
If it were me, I'd choose Civ VI. Civ V has been terrific and offers a great deal of replayabilty. You would definitely get the most bang for your buck with this game.
Comment has been collapsed.
I understand, but I only want to buy it if it's at least a bit different than the previous one. I don't want to buy the exact same game with only a few different things. xD
Comment has been collapsed.
Alas, I cannot say since I've been waiting to get my hands on it myself. I intend to wait for the game's release and make a judgment based on reviews and/or demos.
Comment has been collapsed.
I personally would buy Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Dishonred 2. Deux Ex: Human Revolution cautivated me instantly. The story really atracted and entertained me. The stealth with RPG skill tree and abilities, and FPS was really good. Plus it's cyberpunk themed <3. I haven't played the old ones. This sequel that continues the story, with the new technology that games are made with, should be an amazing game.
The same goes to Dishonred 2, but with steampunk in there, though the first had cyborg-ish structure in the story, this one has magic in it.
You should check Quantum Break that was released in Steam a couple of weeks before, but you most than likely saw it.
Comment has been collapsed.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was good, but I wouldn't put it in my top list of games. :P
Well, the first Dishonored had magic in it too. o.O
Yes, I know about Quantum Break, but I'm not really interested in buying it. :/
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, i was talking about the first Dishonored. Have a good day, just wanted to help.

Shadow Warrior 2 and Civ VI
Two very different games, so if you get both you will have variety.
Civ VI - I love the series, and this one looks like a lot of very interesting innovation. Promises to be a notably different game in good ways - as opposed to the ways diehard fans of the series hated V.
Shadow warrior was awesome. Old school feel with new school gameplay improvements. The second looks like the first plus the money to do it even better.
Comment has been collapsed.
Notably different? You sure? I saw it will have some differences than the previous one, but I don't want it to look just like CIV 5, otherwise it won't be worth the money that I'll spent. :/ I want it to be very different than the previous one or else I can just play CIV 5, instead of buying the new one.
Yes, I can agree about Dishonored. :P

It looks to me like a bunch of big changes.

Oh, the changes are interesting indeed! :D Thanks for your answer.

I have some of these games in my wishlist, too!
If I had to choose one, I think I would choose Syberia 3. The reason is simply that I loved the first 2 chapters, so it's a sort of "must buy" for me when it gets released :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, but although I don't care about the price, why is it that much expensive? It's just weird, that's all. :P
Comment has been collapsed.
1: Watch_Dogs2 (starts looking more and more like an actual GTA game + hacking, IMO that's pretty damn great)
2: Far Cry Primal (not a big fan of Far Cry 4, but this one seems really epic and original :D)
3: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, not on your list but damn, that game is the first game since The Witcher 3 and GTA V to get me hyped this much (actually my number 1:P)
Comment has been collapsed.
I loved Far Cry 4! :O Why didn't you like it? ;_;
I loved hacking in Watch_Dogs. I've stolen so much money from rich people's accounts. xD
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands? Naaahhh, it looks like an open-world Division. xD
Comment has been collapsed.
IDK, for some reason I just didn't feel much for Far Cry 4, tho I must admit I haven't played it myself, only seen videos on youtube.
And Ghost Recon Wildlands is 100% different from the division, tho I must admit it kind of looks like it. luckily the mechanics of this game are way more the style I like, no cover to cover gameplay, not having to shoot an enemy multiple times in the head to kill him, multiple ways of attacking an enemy base and a high detailed huge open world map that's 2 and a half to 3 times as big as that of GTA V, all vehicles can be used and all weapons are customisable in lots of ways.
[1 small edit: you can also play this game completely in singleplayer if you want, as the other players will be replaced by AI if you choose to play like that]
but yeah, that's just the kind of game I like, if you don't like that kind of game, that is completely up to you of course :D
good luck trying to pick a game or 2 ;)! :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Does Ghost even have a story? I don't know, I'm just asking. I hope it has a single player campaign, does it? And thank you. xD
Comment has been collapsed.
The fights were really awesome in the first game! I really loved all the options when fighting. xD I liked the storyline too, but its humor, well, not that much.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, sometimes they "overdo" it, I hope the second one has the humor on the same level as season 5-8 with a bit of 9+ here and there.
What I mostly loved is that the game engine and design itself really made me feel like I was watching a pre-made episode instead of live-rendered content.
Comment has been collapsed.
I don't like their tv series at all. xD Yeah, really cool design indeed. B-)
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree about the second one. You weren't too persuasive with the first one though. xD
Comment has been collapsed.
For me was the very first stealthy game with supernatural stuff for a long time (previously one was Vampire Bloodlines, but even there you have to kill in order to continue the history), so i would get that one.... the other choice for me, would be south park, because its an awesome show and they did a very good job on the last game (played other south park games that werent even decent xD)

Hello, girls and guys! I would really appreciate it if you would help me choose which game I should buy from my wishlist to add in my steam library. I don't care about its release date, no matter how far it is. I also don't care about its price. Also, if a game is still in the pre-order phase, do you think it will get a discount in the Halloween sale or there's no chance to see that happening? Please answer me and choose a game and tell me why should I buy it. Thanks in advance!
