Hello,
I got enough self-motivation to do that. So here you have it, enjoy !
It should improve your experience with the store and help you decide to buy more keys ;-)

Like for any userscripts, you need TamperMonkey for Chrome/Opera/Edge/Safari or GreaseMonkey for Firefox.

dig-store-enhancer.user.js(click to install): Add some functionalities to Steam key store http://www.dailyindiegame.com

Changelog

  • 0.1

    • Dynamically hide/display games without Volume discounts.
  • 0.2.0

    • Games without Steam price will link to related Steam community hub

    • Redirect all pages to their secured version (https)
  • 0.4.0

I think the one feature that dig-store needs in relation to steamgifts is a way to show/hide games that can't be given away.

Yes, this is possible. I could add this by relying on Sighery online API.

Thanks for this, it's useful!
Filter on already owned games would be usefull too.

You can do that already, but you need to edit your Steam profile name here : http://www.dailyindiegame.com/account_editprofile.html

Filtered the Store and Trade section to not include games I already own on Steam is awesome. Thanks so much for that!

This feature is offered from DIG store itself. (It is quite a new feature).

Can you do something like "Blacklist games"? Thank you!

Yes, I could use your Steam list of your unwanted/not interested games. (plus highlighting/marking wishlisted/owned games)
(You would need to be logged in Steam store for it to work when visiting DIG store, or it would use data from last time you were)

How would you like to use it ? You want to black list any games as soon you have decided you aren't interested in ?
It would prune your game list in DIG store, while shortening time to get Steam prices for displayed games.

I would like to do it like this:
Just press a button near to a game, and you won't see it again on the store.

tyvm! ^^

just a small note, it won't work with https:// as is. you can change it to *:// though and it works with both.

Yes, good idea.
Also, I wondering if I should add auto switch to https as well for all urls, as they have configured it but don't use it, not even for the login page.

imo that would be best. normally exosyphen puts unsecure links up in threads and i have to correct that before i login. so that'd be helpful if it's not to complicated. ^^

Not complicated at all, that is quite basic, just a generic redirect on whole domain. (all http links redirected to their https version). I'll configure the userscript to run as soon as possible during page loading to make it seamless.

Bump for v0.4.0 !

thanks, i think i updated the op to reflect the new additions. ^^

edit: nice, i'm glad you went with the old score style including all purchase types.. just tested it out. xD

Well, to be honest this was kinda forced as otherwise several games would have no score and thus couldn't be sorted by score...

i still think it's more accurate to include keys on bundled games personally. on games that haven't been bundled, the gift only score would probably be more accurate though.

i just discovered though, something in the latest update is auto-hiding the "create a trade" button on the account, store, & trades pages. currently that system isn't fully setup anyways, so it's not a big deal for now, but when it fully launches.... xD

Thank you for this script. I like it. :)

I have these suggestions:

  1. Add an option to hide the columns for 100, 250 and 500 keys
  2. move the button "BUY GAME" to the right to last position. It would look better and I think it is kinda standard for buying links to be on the right (and not in the center)
  3. add an option to remove the price in dollars in the brackets in the Standard price column. I don't think it has much sense to be there since one can easily to count it just in their head because 10 dig points = 10 cents.
  4. add links to steamcardexchange.net for each game which has cards (the link would be the word Yes)

  1. Ok. It will be possible when a dialog UI to save options is added.
  2. That make sense. Especially with Volume price following Normal price.
  3. Yes, with 2. in mind, I'm likely to uniformise how normal price is displayed with volume prices. I'm considering using the cent symbol for more compact content.
  4. I will add this in next update. I hadn't considered it since I haven't been trading cards lately so I forgot this aspect :-)

I'll change links to existing reviews for games that haven't scores yet, too.

Any chance you could connect it to Sigherys API and add a column for SG Giftable?
Pretty much just add a ✅ or ❌ mark in the column for determining whether games are giftable here without the use of my thread? (not to mention more accurately then my manually adjusted thread)
I think that's the only thing really left that would make my thread completely obsolete for script users. (obviously strictly script users of this script xD)

It could ofc work without Sigh's API, but I think that would just make it less work utilizing it.

edit:
well... obsolete unless people actually care/use the steamcardexchange/ITAD links.. i guess that's something you could also consider taking on, but i don't think it's nearly as much utilized, if at all.

would it be difficult to add an additional column that shows how many steam community friends own this game?
that would make it easier to find the less owned games to make giveaways for. ^^
also this thread could use a bump anyways

Hello, necromancer ^^ Thanks for your interest!...

But with multiple evolutions of site, especially with some broken code, I didn't want to keep fixing it. Especially now as I don't want to support a site that has currently no decent dispute system.
And I am relatively busy... well supposed to be ^^

Eventually, just filter with your wishlist. Best direct way to find your games of interest, imho.
