Good low budget 1080p Monitor?

I currently have an awful setup (for gaming anyways)
I have this wobbly U shaped desk facing a 30 inch TV.. I know it sounds good in theory, but my stand is too low so I have to bend my neck down all the time.
My neck starts to hurt a lot after gaming for more than an hour. So that is why I need a monitor.
So I want a good 1080p monitor that's not bad, but also isn't too expensive.
