Best controller / your favorite for PC gaming?
I wish I had a 360 controller, but I'm ok with my Dualshock 2 (yes, with a fucked up dll shit)

I've used the same 360 controller for years (mostly for PC gaming but sometimes for my xbox games)

DS3/DS4
I own some chinese cheap version of DS3. I'm still using it over 3 years.

Steam controller all the way just because it's so easy to configure and get working with games that have only keyboard and mouse. 360 controller is great for those games that require a little bit of extra agility and aim!!!

I use the original wii classic controller with bluetooth on my PC.

There are a few ways, googling it will be faster since I am heading off to bed now. It's really simple though, you need Bluetooth too.

Ah! That'd explain why I had trouble back when I tried, actually! No bluetooth on this old thing, and I was trying to have it work with the usb cable that comes with the controller. Thanks mate!

Playing platform and fighting games with keyboard is just tideous tho. Gamepad is much better for those.

personal preference. I used to use a joystick in the Amiga and C64 days but mostly I'm used to mouse and keyboard so I can play any game better with those than I ever could with a joypad/controller/joystick

There is a USB version of the Competition Pro available. I have one and it's the same as the original and works a treat on the PC.

XBOX 360 controller. There are certain games that play best with a controller than with mouse and keyboard and that controller is my no. 1 choice.
Haven't tried the XBOX One controller yet, but I'm happy with what I got.

Xbox One controller is nice. (Does take a little bit of time to get used to though if you only used xbox 360 before).
I like it's micro usb connected but I'd say it's not worth the extra 30 bucks if you only use it for PC.

I love my Logitech F310. I HATE the M$ gamepads. Far too uncomfortable to me.

Same here, I really like the Playstation layout but getting an actual PS3 controller to work with some games can be a hassle and not many games have tooltips for PS buttons so the F310 works out great.

I like looking to get a new controller myself, I have an XBOX 360 and it is fine but I find it a bit stiff and rough to use and want to find something better. (I actually rarely use it, but plan to more in the future.)

f310 is my first ever controller. I havent used any different one except ps3 controllers at netclubs or friends. I am a simple man, i see f310, i vote.

Xbox 360 is a great option because it is cheap and reliable. Been using the same one for years. Although I like the Xbox One controller, it is much more expensive and isn't worth it unless you have the console.

I have a 360 controller. It would be a nice controller, but after a year I got problems. The buttons stuck and the left stick tends to go to the left. So I can't recommend it even though it is a nice controller to play with if it would not have these problems...

My controller also showed those effects but they showed that after 5 years of usage. I then replaced them with new ones and they are still going strong (3years old)
