BLAEO has monthly themes to motivate their members to play games from their backlogs. This month had members go through another members back log, pick five games and challenge them to complete at least one. It was highly successful. Lots of participation. :)

I use blaeo as well but i'm less social xD Just use it to track my progression with backlog - but who knows - this idea sounds quite fun so maybe I will take part when I will have more time/no idea what play next :D
