Nostalgia/recommend me a game thread xD

Panel buildings, concrete, s**tload of steel. Stuff build in times where resources, energy and transport seemed to be cheap.
Basically - architecture of the soviet era.

Some examples below - from games that I already played.
Also game genre doesn't matter.

Are these only FPP games? Also, does stuff like Paradigm seem interesting or just photorealistic graphics?

Genre doesn't matter. I even included screenshots from VN.
I'm not sure about paradigm. Screenshots in game page are not promising but game description is interesting. I mean - pictures are also nice but I'm looking for some kind of idk "massive buildings". I like realistic graphics but it's not necessary.

Singularity.
Red Orchestra.
Call of Duty: Black Ops, World at War, 2.

it is like fallout but with russian culture, humor and memes of 90s-2000s

Well the Metro and the Stalker series would be the first thing that comes to mind. Atomic Heart is doing interesting things with constructivist architecture.

Atomic Heart

Looks nice. Still not released yet xD Plus - I'm not into buying brand new games in my current situation xD Anyway - thanks for pointing out that game. Another title to wait for.

Collapse is a hell of a lot of fun....at least until you get to the end. Not going to spoil it with details, but the end boss is total bullshit and doesn't fit with the rest of the game at all.

Its also bullshit that its expansion (Collapse: The Rage) isn't on Steam.
Hate it when they do that.

Was this ever in a bundle? I have it since a long time ago and I can't remember where I got it from.

I honestly don't know. All I know is that it's been on sale for really dirt cheap a few times, and I picked it up at one of those moments.
It's a pretty cool game overall, but the controls are rather clunky.

You Are Empty (a weird one).
World in Conflict has a few missions on Union turf.
Blitzkrieg and Sudden Strike.
Men of War.
Singularity.

Dunno if it is presented above but check 1953 - KGB Unleashed, Cold War (2005) and The Stalin Subway.
Do I need to mention Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Death to Spies and MGS3?

Both of you beat me by about two minutes. :-(

I wanted to post:

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic yet. Haven't played it myself, but looks decent (even though it's early access). And yes, lot's of Soviet architecture.

Oh well ... I'm typing too slowly, I guess.

The great perhaps.
The style you described is more or less brutalism, you may find some good stuff by searching for it.
Edit: also (The?) Little Kite

TBH, Pathologic's architecture is more akin to Morrowind (or some other fantasy setting), than any actual Soviet city. It was rather disappointing for me back in the day the first game was released

Pretty much any game based in modern day America involving federal buildings. Our buildings are so visually offensive, they are considered brutalist soviet-era construction. Perhaps the Call of Duty games. Stuff from Tom Clancy.

It was beautiful to lok at, if you have an RTX capable GPU. (The full ray-tracing makes the game look so much better...). Fun, but odd game, but not as trippy as Fugue in Void is, lol. But still, a little trippy.
But if you are into Brutalism, it has some really great architecture in that style.

The '90s adventure game Gadget: Invention, Travel and Adventure as well as its enhanced remake Gadget: Past as Future has a very strong Eastern European modern aesthetic to it. Unfortunately it isn't available on Steam or any other service that I'm aware of, so you would have to pick up an original copy on CD-ROM or a copy of the art book that was published with renders from the game.
