Sadly, Argentina is right now with Hyperinflation and 1 U$D was more than what the game actually was at Steam (with a discount and in my local currency). Not a cool time to live in this part of the globe.

Hi! If I am understanding you correctly, there are web sites that do this for you.
For example... try cryptii.com and choose the A1Z26 method... you can change the starting point by, say, moving the first 4 letters (abcd) to the end (after xyz).
However this particular encryption (A1Z26) doesn't know what to do with numbers greater than 26, so you need to work thru that.
YodelXLII DID leave hints as to how much to shift each part of the code (or perhaps the hints are for something else entirely?).
And remember the other clear hint that WawWorm gave - "u" = uppercase.... "l" = lowercase.

Thank you for the explanation. At least now, I understand the easy solution although I am seemingly converting incorrectly. For example, I get a much different result than you did when using this on the same "key" you used in your example. I am curious why you started with 0 instead of 1? If this is zero-based, I am not using the correct key!

Ah.... I was on a similar but incorrect path... converting to hexadecimal... but using the 0 as 16 so I had an odd "off-by-one" error in my positioning. Meanwhile a better prepared person now has "my" key. Thank you for the explanation which seems so obvious now!

Just a heads up: there have been reports of Humble accounts getting flagged as traders and getting banned over having used the gift link feature.
