Quick and to the point here: I was in the bathroom today and naturally got curious about the total number of Steam games I have, and how that figure is calculated. You would think that would be straightforward, but a different number is listed on four different sites, and the range between values is over 100 games.

My Steam library lists the lowest number, with my actual Steam profile page showing 4 more games than my library, while Steamgifts.com lists 80 more games, leaving Barter.vg to post 113 more than my library page.

I have 3 software titles, 7 VR, and 18 videos, so none of those add up to produce any of the variations.

Leaving aside the wastefulness of so many titles that still haven't gotten a decent look, how do you calculate your "actual" number of games in your account? No, it doesn't matter. Yes, I was pooping.

Thank you. That is how they choose to count their titles. Seems one reasonable way.

I just look at the number in my library since it discounts the shit games I have hidden (maybe not actually). - > My games (990) vs 1119

Steam Profile is 3703
Steam Library is 3809
SteamTrades Profile is 3921

Games in my library also include free games and I think maybe DLC to free games. Games on SteamTrades Profile I think includes everything, VR, Video's, Software, OST's etc but not totally sure as it doesn't quite add up. It doesn't even show me my games count like in the second screenie Shirkaster posted but I do remember it being there in the past, so maybe Steam's just having a warm up fit my end before the obligatory Steam crash once the sale starts. :D
