Updating Flash Player: Windows 8

So my PC is running Windows 8 as said above in the title and quite recently I've been unable to view game trailers/videos via the steam client. When attempting to update through the link they provide it tells me that my flash player is integrated. If anyone knows of a fix and could post it here I would truly appreciate the help.

unistall it and instal it manually from the adobe site
