Hi guys, this time I have done this train because I want to celebrate with everybody this great year before it ends.

My year in some lines:

  • In January of this year, I finished a practice of my degree that I was doing in another city near mine, so I returned to my city in that month. I had finished all the subjects and the practice, so I needed to finish the English course that was a requirement to be graduated. I needed to finish the last 3 courses.

  • From February to March I was studying English because I needed to pass if I wanted to be graduated.

  • From April to May I was studying another level, at this moment I was needed to do only one more.

  • From April to September I was working in the Census in my country.

  • In June I was doing the last English course.

  • In August I found out that I am going to be a father of a little boy, that is new for me... my first child and I'm so happy.

  • In September I graduated as a systems engineer. I started to study on Platzi because I want to get more knowledge.

  • Since I graduated I was trying to find a job, but there aren't many opportunities when you don't have much experience, anyway some days ago I was contacted by a good company in which I presented a test one year and a half ago and I will start working in January there.

  • I know that this year it's not finished and I hope December be a nice month for me, we are going to do a baby shower for my child and anyway it's December, time to share with family.

What about yours?

Train Train Train

Update:

Sorry if I haven't answered more questions in this post, but I don't have enough time lately, because on November 20th my son was born. I'm so happy because I'm with him now, but he is a premature baby and he was born with 25 weeks, at the moment he is stable, but he is in a neonatal intensive care unit because he needs to be in an incubator. It's not easy to go every day and see your little child there, but I hope he can be okay soon, Manuel Alejandro needs to maturate a little more.

His little feet here if you want to watch a pic ;)

Thanks for the support in this thread.

Thanks for the ride, manuelpr039!

My year has been mostly uneventful, honestly... They're all starting to blend into each other. My SO and I had another set of anniversaries and birthdays. We took a daytrip to the seaside in the summer. We bought a new couch that's actually comfortable, unlike that spine-destroying monstrosity of a futon we had. One interesting, out-of-the-ordinary thing that happened. We found our long-lost cat, who'd gone missing over two years ago. It's really good to see that kitty-cat again, though they're not getting on so well with the new cat...

Happy you found your cat again, that's such an unexpected happy ending. :) Hope they quickly get used to the other kitty.
Thanks for the laugh re: the futon as well, we currently have one of those and my family cannot see sense with it. They bizarrely don't like comfy, cushion-y couches. haha

Good on you. My year has been pretty monotonous throughout, that's one of the "joys" of life when you're in your 30s.

Congrats on the job and the baby!

My year seems to have been a blur. I can barely remember the last two weeks, which haven't been exactly great. Last week I got stitches in my leg and had to minimize physical activity and computer use as a result, and this week I hurt my back. But on the bright side, I did try a recipe for a Thai green curry chicken stew earlier this week, which turned out delicious!
