Hi guys, this time I have done this train because I want to celebrate with everybody this great year before it ends.

My year in some lines:

  • In January of this year, I finished a practice of my degree that I was doing in another city near mine, so I returned to my city in that month. I had finished all the subjects and the practice, so I needed to finish the English course that was a requirement to be graduated. I needed to finish the last 3 courses.

  • From February to March I was studying English because I needed to pass if I wanted to be graduated.

  • From April to May I was studying another level, at this moment I was needed to do only one more.

  • From April to September I was working in the Census in my country.

  • In June I was doing the last English course.

  • In August I found out that I am going to be a father of a little boy, that is new for me... my first child and I'm so happy.

  • In September I graduated as a systems engineer. I started to study on Platzi because I want to get more knowledge.

  • Since I graduated I was trying to find a job, but there aren't many opportunities when you don't have much experience, anyway some days ago I was contacted by a good company in which I presented a test one year and a half ago and I will start working in January there.

  • I know that this year it's not finished and I hope December be a nice month for me, we are going to do a baby shower for my child and anyway it's December, time to share with family.

What about yours?

Train Train Train

Update:

Sorry if I haven't answered more questions in this post, but I don't have enough time lately, because on November 20th my son was born. I'm so happy because I'm with him now, but he is a premature baby and he was born with 25 weeks, at the moment he is stable, but he is in a neonatal intensive care unit because he needs to be in an incubator. It's not easy to go every day and see your little child there, but I hope he can be okay soon, Manuel Alejandro needs to maturate a little more.

His little feet here if you want to watch a pic ;)

Thanks for the support in this thread.

Congrats on your baby! :) Also love your idea of listing year month-by-month so will do so myself as well (and as others did ;p)

I am not studying, I was not changing work or anything like that, so not gonna list it, assume that every month consists among listed things from usual stuff - aka work, lots of gaming and lots of cooking (as I usually spend 2-4h per day cooking alone ;p)

January - Not much happened, I was mostly saving up money, so no travels, no events, no major spending etc.
February - I made and bottled my first ever batch of homemade beer. Helped my fiancee set up a shop with handmade soutash jewelry she makes as a hobby. I went to hairdresser and cut my hair for first time in 5 years ;p
March - it was probably the worst month of the year, or even last few years. One of my closest friends had a horrible car accident and ended up in coma, he's now rehabilitating but it will take years until he'll be able to walk normally. Also my fiancee got diagnosed with an illness, it required her switching to a strict diet, as I'm the one cooking in the house it fell onto me to make menus, preparing all 5 meals for each day, counting all things related to it like callories, sugars etc, also it meant that for the most part I switched to a diet as well. Then I had a big fight with my mom over my aunt - aunt is an anti-vaxer, she disliked some post I made on fb and ended up spamming my fb wall with anit-vaxing nonsense, I argued with her, deleted her spam posts, in the end simply blocked her - mom was furious because 'how could I treat family member this way?'. In the end me and my mom did not speak with each other for next few months and I didn't even got invited for Easter.
April - Spent Easter with my fiancee's family. Went to a big fantasy convention with friends. Dropped 5kg due to diet.
May - nothing really happened, we had vacations planned for begginign of may but it didn't work at the last moment possible, diet continued, lost another few kg but that was it for weight loss for this year ;p
June - After 2 months of diet fiancee decided she had enough of it, we had a big argument over it but in the end she dropped it anyway 'for a while', which changed to few months :/, so I stopped as well. I snagged some ultra-cheap last-minute flight tickets to Greece, so we went for a one-week vacations, rented a car and drove all around Makedonia and Central Greece. Luckilly these short vacations eased up tensions between us.
July - went to another convention, but this time in my own city, had a few weekend trips in my region, organised overnight observation of lunar eclipse followed by a campfire party and camping.
August - Went to polish mountains for some lite weekend hiking over valleys (I'm way too unhealthy to do any serious more intensive one ;p), had weekend trip to Budapest, done 4 days of sailing with friends.
September - went to japanese cultural festival, mid-month I hurt my leg and ended up spending 1.5 week mostly in bed, by the end of the month we got back on diet.
October - went to my friend's military oath, made up with my mom, we slept in her house, after oath we spent weekend partying with my old friends from my hometown, I got invested with my local board games club and for now try to spend at least one evening per week playing board games. At the end of the month I attended Game Music Festival (where you can hear famous games soundtracks performed by philharmonic orchestra in big philharmonic hall) and had a blast there.
November - it's probably the busiest month of the year for me, no free weekend at all, first I visited hometown for All Hallows, then visited my sister in other city, then one weekend we celebrated friend's bday out of town, then I went on professional conference in other city for whole week, after I got back very next day we went to see theatre play, next weekend we have a little home makeover and then I have a birthday and we will celebrate it by going on short 4days trip to Sicily ;p
December - about to come ;) We will be going to Prague with group of friends for weekend for Xmas Market, and I will be travelling home for Xmas themselves. New Years Eve we will spend in home watching over our kitties as they are afraid of fireworks.

Rather a depressing year for me.

  • January, I was just back from an amazing trip into regular life. Except I had no real place, so my bf and I were sleeping at our parents houses. We were both jobless too.
  • In February we got a cheap place in a small city with nothing to do, very small and depressing place.
  • In May, perhaps the only great achievement for me this year, I finished writing the first draft of my 4 years-in-the-making novel!! This is huge for me, I am proud to have acomplished something and feel very good about what I've written, even if it's far from perfect.
  • At some time at this point I started developing terrible agoraphobia and feared of dying everytime I got out. Then even when I didn't get out I felt like I was going to die of like a heart attack. This condition is still healing slowly, it's not completely gone but I'm good for the most part.
  • In July we decided we wanted to find a home and a job in a specific city, we found neither of them and were still in this terrible place
  • In October my bf finally found a job! So we moved to a new city that we really love so far. I am still jobless though.
  • November, so far I got some interviews for jobs but nothing serious. I've corrected 60% of my novel. I also got to meet an really good internet friend of mine who lives nearby where I live now (and who's also my only friend here, at the moment xD). I don't really feel depressed anymore, and my anxiety is kinda gone.
  • In December I'll stop getting money from the state for being unemployed, because it's ben too long by now.

So, meh year, not much going on. Soft depression all along. I wish to start fresher next year: get my novel published, get a job, launch a YT channel project, also starting a new novel!
