EA Announces Agreement to be Acquired by PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners for $55 Billion

I didn't have EA acquired by Oil tycoons from Arabia on my 2025 bingo but hey they can't be worse than how they run it now right?

It’s actually to the point where EA couldn’t really do worse by being acquired finally.
They’ve killed off so many smaller companies and’s studios and franchises over the years, I’d actually be glad to see them go.
If they miraculously become a BETTER company because of this, then great:

Well, that more or less settles that Bioware is indeed dead.
For one they don't do the annual e-sports games the Saudis desire and secondly, could one imagine them greenlighting games with LGBTQ+ content or questioning draconian forms of government?

Really if anything the'd want to make that money back as quick as possible maybe a FC Ultimate team which is f2p to try and get more people buying the packs

Oh crap that's confirmed, who knows what will become of EA games in the future?
In the doubt, will change my backlog plans and hurry up to finish NFS Unbound.

I always thought Ubisoft would be the one to be sold first. Honestly don't expect much from this change, but I may be surprised!
