Broken steam activity feed (help please)

Currently my steam activity feed is broken. It appears like this. As i scroll down things start to get weird and completely out of place. The page continues on like this for a long time scrolling and then after you get past it, the page just defaults me back to right in the middle of the messed up bit. It appears like this in both the browser and the steam client.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue. The only thing i've tried so far is to delete the friends that are in that broken bit and leave the groups. But this didn't work. It only made different groups and friends appear in the broken bit.

edit: It seems the problem has fixed itself somehow.
