Years ago, I played the CD-ROM Lego Games and had a lot of fun with them. Some of them were Alpha Team, Rock Raiders, Stunt Rally, and my favorite being Lego Racers.

Seeing a bunch of Lego games on Steam, I was wondering if any them are as much fun as the older ones of their time. Opinions?

I haven't played those older ones, but I generally enjoy the Lego games, in particular Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Pirates of the Carribean, and Lego Batman 2.

Personally, I think these are the best Lego games nowadays.

Lego: Lord of the Rings
Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventure
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

I faintly remember playing the older Lego games and I would say, that the games are hard to compare due to the newer ones being based more or less on films... And there isn't much racing going on in any of the games.
But I've played a bunch of them and I like them. The funniest aspect of them are the humour in them.
If you haven't played any of the new and are in doubt, you could watch some gameplay videos, borrow someone's game or play a demo?
