I can relate to what you wrote about cherished memories from when we were younger, but then again I think to myself, there shouldn't be anything stopping us from making new (childish) memories. Even as adults we could still go out in autumn, enjoy nature, play in the fallen leaves, or walk around with lanterns. :)

A few years ago I got to visit my hometown and ran around the block with my latern that I bought on a whim for the Moon Festival.
It wasn't the same as the time when I got to play around with my cousins though, but it was like another kind of quiet celebration.
I don't go out of way to buy mooncakes anymore, so I much prefer Qixi over this holiday.

I participated in the train by giving away 2 games and received 2 blacklists. Worst deal in the history of deals.

I gave away 3 games (only two officially within the train) and won 3 GAs myself so I guess karma is working as expected. About celebrations, in these parts of the world during September we celebrate things like spring and the students day/week/"oh god, you guys have been annoying the rest of the city for months with the preparation of your damn party, can you finish already".

Mooncakes are at rip-off prices now. I used to love lighting lanterns when I was younger though, with real wax candles and the flammable paper lanterns. xD

Just celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with a bunch of other Chinese students in the university I attend since I'm part of the Chinese club there. It was a blast with lots of games and moon cakes and food.
