Me and my friend are looking for some good, low-end PC co-op games :D

He has a pretty crappy computer, An Intel Integrated card, 2 gigs of ram..

Online Co-op not Local, since we live in different countries it might be a little bit difficult to do local coop games..

Ah but for the OP, he just wanted an online co-op game for PC, which the filter exists. He didn't mention he was incapable of finding games outside of Steam.

Wait, you mean Saints Row 3? On a low end system? You're joking yea?
Even if he hadn't mentioned the integrated card...SR2 wouldn't even run on high-end systems.

Exactly, my C2D E6600 2,4GHz @ 3GHz, GTS 250 1GB and 6GB RAM can't run it without having framerate issues. (know it's not anything extra awesome but its better than the OPs friend's one.

i bet u didnt check those links, then u have no idea :) also my friend played demo which is worse optimised and it worked

SR2 is a horrible console port that only runs decent once patched with unofficial fixes (the game is awesome though), SR3 is a lot more optimized, so it's not a fair comparison. It would probably not run on an integrated card anyway though, unless it's an A10-5800 or maybe, just maybe an intel HD4600...

Diablo 2 is a perfect game for low-end computers. Basically all old games will run fine and since Diablo is one of the best old games... And the co-op, damn, I loved it.

You did not say what CPU he has. My Wife has an i3 with an integrated iNTEL HD4000 GPU and we play Civilization V in Coop. If you´re not a graphics whore and and don´t mind something more relaxing, free and which involves a bit of thinking then maybe also Simutrans is an option for you. You can play Coop here too.

operation flashpoint the original

Damn, that's another amazing idea. I'm proud to be from the same country as the creators of Operation Flashpoint. It's the best military simulation I've ever played. Better than ArmA and ArmA 2 (Flashpoint's sequels by the same developers, btw). There's a bunch of co-op missions or you can create custom ones with the mission editor.
Give it a try if you want a realistic experience.

  • Left4Dead
  • No More Room In Hell (a free source mod - downloading source base SDK 2006+2007 is required)
  • Bloody Trapland (well it's not really coop tho)
  • Half-Minute Hero
  • Cry of Fear (free on steam, was recently a mod based on half-life 1 but is now a full standalone, i recommend play through the single player first)

Dungeon Siege 2; Dead Space 3 (oddly enough, it worked on my friends low-end PC on high-medium); Cube World; Terraria; Hammerwatch; Magicka (will have fights)

This. When I played on my previous, low-profile non-integrated card, Magicka ran like crap on lowest details. I don't think it will be any better on your friend's toaster.
