New Games Releasing today!

My new series of one button minimalist arcade games are releasing today on Steam. They are fast paced score chasers that follow a similar aesthetic while maintaining their own game play control mechanics. I think if you've enjoyed my previous titles (especially Orbt XL) you may get a lot of fun out of these as well. They launch in the coming hours on May 14th

Bing Bong XL

Pivot XL

Righty Tighty XL

They will also be available in a bundle for cheaper here

I hope you all have some fun with them. Thanks as always to the Steam Gifts community for the support for these and my previous games, it really has made a HUGE difference to a small developer like myself. Make sure to leave a review and share with friends if you enjoy playing my games.

All the giveaways I am doing to celebrate:
Bit Blaster XL (1500 copies) giveaway
Orbt XL (1500 copies) giveaway
Diamo XL (1500 copies) giveaway
Kingdom Come giveaway
Into the Breach giveaway
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 giveaway

So, you're selling essentially the same game three times to rip off customers and maximize your monetary gain? Yeah, right. Will report the games instead.

you would realize it's not the same game if you bothered watching gameplay videos. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's why I said "essentially the same game", after watching the gameplay videos, you presumptious special snowflake :)
Those are not three different games in my eyes. You could make one of those games and do the other ones as different game modes, all in one game. But, since my own personal opinion doesn't have to be everyone's opinion, we should let Valve decide. That's what this cute, little, peculiar flag is for :)

Valve doesn't care, unless the dev tries to manipulate reviews (or sue reviewers).

Those are $1 games. So even if they should be quite similar, it can hardly be a "rip off", considering what new game modes cost elsewhere. Not to mention that his games seem to be well appreciated, as the ratings & reviews suggest.

Yikes, this is definitely not the type of response I expected to receive here. Sorry you felt that way.

The games are definitely different in player mechanics from each other while following a similar aesthetic. They were initially a series of games I created as part of a minimalist collection as I have been learning game development. They each have different mechanics while also maintaining a similar feel and look of the complete set.

If you really get down to mechanics, all of my small games are built off the concept of survival and score chasing and very similar in that regard. I do my best to ensure that each game feels balanced by keeping my scope small and manageable. I suspect that's why people that like one of my games typically seem to enjoy my other games. Its also generally safe to assume they don't feel 'ripped off' as you say because I charge so little for my titles.

I'd love if you give them a shot and who knows maybe you'll have some fun with them, if not that's OK too, they are definitely a niche type of game. I have a couple relationships with some Valve people and they are the ones that initially encouraged me to bring my smaller games to their platform and see if that market exists and its actually changed my life and really helped me grow as a developer. I would never want to rip anyone off and always want to ensure I am not overcharging or being dishonest in my titles.

Don't treat it seriously. He's our special snowflake.
Have you seen his official "please lick my ass" thread

Hmm, I do think the aesthetic is pretty similar, but the gameplay seems different enough in each to set them apart. I wouldn't worry about it.

Still, have you considered making your games available for mobile? These games seem like they would really thrive on that kinda market. Score chasing games are a lot easier to pick up and put down on a phone or tablet. If you've already done that and I can't find 'em, whoops, sorry!

Anyway, thanks for the giveaways! Been eyeing Orbt for ages :D

At least his games have a different style of gameplay in each. Have you ever seen the Ubermosh games? It seems like the dev releases a new game with every update instead of just releasing an update. Plus the game is pretty bad, no idea how they all maintain such a high rating.

Just so you know, 'just-one-more-round' when translated to spanish should be "solo una ronda más" instead of "solo uno más redondo" as it now says in the blurb on the store.

Thanks so much for this clarification, I will change that. :)

The translator seems to have confused round as in a match for round as in a circle and that borked the meaning, glad to be of assistance :)

Makes sense, those are generally the problems with auto translation, no context. Luckily the community has always been friendly and helps me sort out issues with the translations :)

Well, Bit Blaster XL was surprisingly fun (especially for a dollar), and if the new games are as much fun, they'll do well..
Thanks for all the giveaways, too.

Thanks for the head's up.
Since I've played your previous 3 games, and quite enjoyed them (Bit Blaster the most), I'll probably buy them later on.
Keep up the good work.
