The camera was an occasional bother, but I found it more enjoyable than the original given the repetition didn't get quite so bad.

Also the massive non-realistic jump from ledge to ledge bothered me ):

I liked the first Assassin Creed, it was something new and cool for the age, then came out AC2 and I liked it even more but the others... ok sailing ships is cool but now the serie is just became repetitive imho.

I was going to say AC2, but Brotherhood definitely improved upon AC2. Went down hill from there.

It's a tie between AC1 and AC2 for me.

Both games were great. AC2 has more content, a vaster world, and more weapons/combat moves. The missions are less repetitive, and more interesting. But for some reason, AC1 stays on top of the list as well, personally. Possibly because it's the first AC game I've played?

The first AC game was a really bold experiment. Parts of it fell flat, but it was a big gamble. Playing as a free-running assassin during the Crusades? There was a lot of ways in which that game could've completely failed, especially if they mucked up the controls. But it sticks with people because it was something very different, with an intriguing story and great gameplay (other than the repetitive prerequisites before doing main missions).

But AC2 is really the perfect example of what a sequel could and should be. They took what worked and refined it, and removed the things that annoyed people. I'd be hard pressed to come up with a sequel more redeeming for a series.

after Brotherhood I always found something which made me hate the actual AC game:
Revelations: tower defense
3: Frontier, and the sailing
4: the sailing
Liberation: swamp
Unity: the optimization
and guess what I will hate in Rogue

anyways 2 for president

Brotherhood. The first one changed a lot of stuff, we weren't used to "parkour" like that. The problem was repetition of missions althought i made that game 100% since couldn't stop playing. The second one corrected all problems of the first but Brotherhood went even further and is a wonderfull game. After that we have amazing and unique games but for me Ezio story was just top notch.

Everything before AC:R is good.
The rest is bad.

AC2 and Brotherhood were my favourites, but I only played those, AC1 and AC3.

You should play AC: Revolutions. It wraps up Altair's and Ezio's stories. It doesn't really add anything interesting to the gameplay, other than being able to level up your minions and order them to do your dirty work for you.

Actually, AC: Revelations was the only game that I watched as a "movie" on Youtube.

That'd certainly work. Like I said, you weren't really missing anything, gameplay-wise It wasn't bad, just wasn't anything that you hadn't already done a few times before. I played it mostly to conclude the stories.

Haven't played anything after AC3 yet, since I don't buy Uplay games until they are very cheap, but of those I played: AC2 > AC:B > AC3 > AC:R > AC:Bloodlines > AC1

I've only played up to Brotherhood so I can't comment on the others, but my favorite is AC 1. I liked the Crusade setting more than Italy, and as repetitive as it may be, I still enjoy running through Jerusalem causing trouble. :P

It was very difficult for me to choose between Black Flag, III, and II.

Black Flag ended up being my choice simply because I love the setting, the theme, and overall story.
