Not only does it look horific but it's a Unity game, so unlike basically every other visual novel using Ren'Py there aren't even any auto/skip options.

Aha, I forgot how amazing some of that game's art was... :) Something like they ran out of money and the programmer had to draw the rest? Don't remember if I read that or just imagined it, but either way that's how it looked... :)

The art seen on the screenshots on the store page look a bit flat, but not terrible, but those screenshots looks like someones early attempts at drawing, when they're just starting to practice some of the basic techniques.
