I need some feedback .
- The Doors open now @ 0:00 UTC. The puzzles are now easy, but they will get harder ....so should I keep it on this time, or shift
it to something later, to protect addicts from solving the puzzles in the night (at least in europe). - The duration of the Giveaways is now 71 hours, to long, to short, to whatever?

You should shift the time, but to something sooner instead. :D
The duration is just right, in my opinion. It helps to both have a good number of solvers and avoid dragging on for too long.

I was pretty disappointed to come back earlier and solve Day #3 only to find the giveaways ended two hours prior. It was still December 5th everywhere in the Western hemisphere, and since the OP said I had 3 days I thought I was in the clear..

We have several time-zones on our little blue ball and UTC is one for all. yes it's not 3days like 72 hours it's only 71....but in this case you would have been anyway one hour to late. So just keep in mind Giveaways end on 0:00 UTC each day.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend. I meant "the OP" as "the text of the original post" and not "the person who started the thread".
You asked for feedback so that's what I was trying to give. It'd be nice if they ran longer for those of us on the other half of the planet. Alternatively, you could edit the OP to mention that it's using UTC and that they run for 71 hours ("two days and a bit", "somewhat less than three days", etc.).

You are right. I edited the first post, to reduce confusion.For the duration, I don't see a disadvantage for any half of the world....and for people left side from UTC at least the doors open at a reasonable time, when they are not already in bed.

7172 hours starting 0:00UTCCET, so you can even open a door a few days later....but afterwards someone was faster than you. And please don't open doors to early, that's not nice.Some more Information:
