Since you are asking, I don't think this comply to rules :

Such actions include but are not limited to clicking a referral link, liking a Facebook page, following a Twitter account, joining a Steam group, completing a survey, or making a donation.
But if you are interested in such free stuffs, just bookmarks those links :

Crap. I tried to win this one so many times, and now it's off the site.
I don't have a cellphone, so I can't even finish the tasks it asks for.

The one step was to 'View The Free Distraint Android App on Google Play'. I thought that meant something to do with Android was required.

Just click the link and you're good. :)
View tasks are just that, sites to quickly look at, nothing more. Moreover, other than Twitter, Facebook, and embedded advertisments, I don't think there are any gleam tasks that actually check for any sort of completion confirmation*. Twitter is the real issue there, given how much the service hates on Gleam, but in this case you only need to complete a certain number of the tasks listed, so the twitter task for this one can be skipped entirely anyway.
*Keep in mind that if a service isn't configured to send out a sort of confirmation response (as most aren't), then the only thing a task can do is base its completion off an [OnMouseClick] check for the "Click here" button. So most tasks for these kinds of things can be completed just by clicking on them, even if they ask you to do something more than just click.

Thank you, Sooth (and Mihey3Z and d3m4n as well). I was able to get my key.:)

Just had the weirdest thing happen, I activated my key and got the "dragon trainer" forest rage dlc for Forge of gods (rpg) and it also said that I activated distrait with the same code, but its not in my library, so I try the key again, of course it doesn't work. I go looking around trying to find it in blue while its downloading and I find it, in my shared games library.
now my family shared friend has the copy of distrait in his library, and I do not.
I have no idea how something like this could even happen, to split activate a single code onto two accounts one that isn't even online at the time of activation.
I really dont know what to say.. Merry Christmas friend? :D

I think they (the game creators) don't want people getting extra keys to resell etc.

They don't check if you own it though.. I already own it but I still was able to get a key from this.

They did ask me to link my account (I believe previous giveaways have done so also, and I usually avoided that), which I did this time, and I already had the game from a previous purchase, but they gave me a key anyway so I didn't mention it in my post.

Had to log in (used facebook because I couldn't be bothered to create yet another account) and then it asked to link my steam account. Man, screw that.
