Worth the buy?
Hmm, might pick Starcraft 2 up. I miss playing obsessive Starcraft :3

They're all worth it. Starcraft 2 is amazing. The story is great and the gameplay feels alot like SC1. Diablo 3 has a nice story and the gameplay is fun. However, the non-story gameplay (rifts, grifts, bounties) gets grindy pretty fast. Some people enjoy that, others don't. It's just about getting better gear over and over. I have never played PoE but from what I've heard it's more complex and if you mess up the build you can't change it very easily. Diablo 3 is simpler I guess. Torchlight 2 is just too cartoonish for my tastes.

Gamestop currently has a sale on Blizzard PC titles. These come around 3-4 times a year and always seem to be a 50% discount. My question is, is it worth $60 + tax to get StarCraft II and Diablo III with each of their respective expansions? Also, since the price is the same for physical copies and digital copies, is there a reason to get one or the other? In other words, the physical copy is similar to Call of Duty where you need the CD key to activate, and once it has been the copy is rendered virtually useless, correct?
Finally, I loved StarCraft 1 and sunk countless hours in my younger years into the game and expansion pack. (Wish I knew where they were today... They've got to be in some box.) So I have some experience with the franchise.
I have never played a Diablo game. Is that helpful for jumping into the third installment? Some of my die-hard Diablo friends despise Diablo III and say it's a console game ported to PC. Since I've never played 1 or 2, I may be spared that bias.
Are they worth it?
