Should I buy/not buy Pay Day 2 on sale right now ($5)?

Great, great game, but you need some friends to play it with you. It's definately no single player game

yes. get it in shitty g2a site which people buy when it's cheap and sell with a little higher price.

I grabbed some more of the DLC while it was on sale. Don't buy the DLCs full price, you'll go broke; if you see something you want in one of the DLCs grab it on sale (like now). You can play multiplayer with heists you don't own if the player hosting has the DLC. The game shines multiplayer, so it is best with friends. I recommend the GOTY edition over the regular, because it is a good collection of DLC for the price.

i don't think you can get it cheaper right now.
you might wanna check the combined price of all dlc and compare with the goty edition, some packs are pretty useless and it would be a waste to pay for it.

I got mine free for opening a 4-pack for a trader. But I think Steam have put a stop to a few things since then...

Currently it's a decent price for a good game. I think you'll struggle without some pieces of DLC like the sniper rifles - but it is quite possible to manage without a lot of it. On the other hand the GOTY edition is a good price for a lot of content.

In my opinion if you like fixing drills and moving bags with your friends then this is the game for you. Jk its a great game at a great price. :)

it's not really five bucks. You pretty much need a bunch of the dlc to get the whole payday 2 experience at this point.

Depend if its looks interesting for you. I got mine for $2 and play it only few hours. Buy it, why not.

Get the goty edition for 12.5$ if you can, there are tons of dlcs and I really doubt you'd be able to get them any cheaper.

I remember dishonored, dishonored goty edition was like 10$, the game was like 5$ and dlc was around 10-15$ on sale and I regretted not buying the goty edition.

Get the game if you have friends who play it and you'll have a blast!, if you don't have em, you'll need to find a group since playing with randoms is a hassle. I got the game when there were hardly any dlcs but it was great, so even without dlc the game is great however dlc adds weapons and all, stuff that you might like(some good weaps, other useless stuff)

tl;dr if you end up wanting dlc later you might regret buying it for 5$, get the goty edition imo, the game is worth the price on sale atm(maybe even the original one).

Do you have 5 dollars to blow? If yes but it. If no then save for the next sale its 5 dollars on. Also I tried playing on my own and did not like it. Must play with other imo.

Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit but I'm getting the GOTY edition. Is the rest of the DLC worth getting too? Currently just over $18 for the rest of it that doesn't come with the GOTY.
