Far Cry 3 Multiplayer on PC: Yay or Nay

Game looks fun but I hear bad things about online being bugged, lobbies not working, etc. I'm looking to pick it up for single player, map editor, and eventually online multiplayer and coop. So if you have the game, share your opinions please.

didnt play mp as of yet but the game is worth it for its sp alone imho :) sorry that i didnt answer your question though...

FC3 is a mainly singleplayer game but the mp and co-op do add more value.

the multiplayer lag was horrible at first, they have patched it a few times and it is alot more stable, as for the actual gameplay it is solid, it is basically like any other call of duty type shooter but with a jungle type theme.. It is fun though and has a lot of content to unlock. I havent played around with the map editor yet but im sure it is quite versatile as I have used the editor in fc2. The co-op missions are actually quite interesting and the plot for it is a bit more wacky compared to the singleplayer plot.

How long are the co-op missions in terms of game play? I played a bit of Far Cry 3, cleared the first island but never visited the second one. Then stopped playing because I wanted a copy for myself without spoiling the whole game. I used to have a lot of fun with the original Far Cry on Xbox, making maps and doing local death match with friends.

As long as the servers are stable now, and there's an active community playing (which everyone seems to want/like this game) that's all I need.

if they fix the mp and allow animals, i'd def play it with my friends just to to go hunting lol.
