You know, just for the sake of argument, if you're going to argue something and try to convince people to believe you, try just a bit harder. Saying "google it" is the lamest argument you can use.
But, if we are going to have serious discussion about good/bad things of marijuana, let's have it. It has been widely known that marijuana is (reasonably) known as gateway drug (short-burst drug which eventually wears of and makes user go to stronger drugs in order to get feel that 'hit'). It has been also well known that marijuana is addictive (go figure). As far as the brain thing goes, google mostly shows speculations rather than some real research being done on that field. As it has been said many times before, just because it works on a friggin mouse does not mean it'll work on a human being. As far as the medicinal use goes, I've seen a 25 year old cheerleader chick with sore knuckles taking the weed for the medicinal use. So... yeah. Right. Also, if you pay close attention to those articles about researching you'll find that many state that it is not marijuana that 'cures cancer' (it really doesn't, it is merely a speculation) but rather a isolated compound within the plant of marijuana that could potentially be used in fight against cancer cells, notably the brain cancer cells. Therefore to say that marijuana itself heals cancer is ok, but to say that by smoking it you'll be cured is nonsense. What most of these google articles imply is simply the idea of extracting the compound and using it (probably) in others way than getting high since one of the people who discovered this says "...you could never get enough Cannabidiol for it to be effective just from smoking."
Therefore, using the 'it cures cancer' as an argument for YOU getting high is simply lame and stupid because it turns out it doesn't!
