Trading coupons has always worked for me, but it has to be done over Steam chat trade window.

So it's kind of the opposite of the way I do it then... I usually go to the item in my inventory first, hit the "trade" button on the item, then select the user I want to send it to.
I guess from what you're saying, I have to go to the user first, request a trade with them, and then select the coupon to send?
Or maybe I'm confusing gifting with trading... since on the inventory screen, it's actually a "gift" button and not a "trade" button.

Yeah, from Inventory is Gifting, while the Trade window allows both of you to send something if you wish (though you don't need to). I like doing it that way since it lists Trades in a history.

So, I just discovered a 75% off coupon for Serious Sam 3 in my steam inventory. At the bottom of the coupon, it states that it is tradeable. But, it does not display any options for gifting/trading it to another person, only the button that links to SS3 on the steam store. And I can't even use the coupon at the moment because SS3 is currently on sale.
So... like... what's the deal here? Is it actually not tradeable and that's a typo at the bottom, or is trading coupons done differently than trading games?
