brands
I have a Samsung S5 mini but I'm not super happy with it, well I flashed the Cyanogenmod OS and now it's way better, however I'm curious about LG, Huawei and Motorola quadcore phones.

I got Samsung Galaxy S5 a few weeks ago. It was time for a phone change. Still getting used to it, it's a nice phone but UI kind of sucks.

iPhone forever =) Just because it's simple, has high quality board and chips and the main part - amazing security.
Know why experienced thieves don't steel iPhones, but Samsungs, LG, HTC? iPhone's screen security code starting from iPhone 4s can't be brooted and only one thing to remove it is resetting phone, but when you reset iPhone it powers on and ask you to enter Apple ID and Password and if you don't know them - you will not be able to use iPhone. You can't do anything with that. So you've got a locked phone, which can't be used.
What happens with Samsung, LG & HTC when they got stolen? Some kid just broots your screen password with simple programm (it takes 5-15 minutes). So he stole your phone, removed your password, disabled all the secutiry on phone (trust me it's possible and is very easy to perform if you have enough skill) and he got full access to your photos, your messages, phone calls, applications (ebay, amazon, etc). Not cool at all i think.
I'm working a lot with phones and almost each day i have clients who forgot their security screen lock code. Samsung, LG, HTC? - No, problem, sir. Give me 15 minutes and i will hack it, reset it and get access to your private data =) iPhone 4s, 5, 5s, 5c, 6, 6+? - Sorry, but we can't help you. Only, if you know your apple ID and password.
You can talk about price, bigger lcd, beautiful buttons. Maybe for some people it's the main reasons too choose phone. For me and a lot of people i know the main reason to choose phone is security, usability & quality. Few days ago some prick stole Samsung Galaxy 5 from my friend. After that my friend received message that his phone was successfully hacked and person who stole it has all my friend's wife's private images =) Not cool at all. You can say that my friend was pretty dumb to save his wife images on phone - actually he deleted them from gallery, but thief found them in whats app history )) Now the situation is - pay or i will send these photos to your friends, your parents, your wife friends and parents and post them everywhere.

Exactly. Been using the iPhone since the 3G. Proprietary everything from hardware to software. Less issues the phones made by so many different company's tech support is a nightmare. I can hack every other phone but the iPhone is the only one that gives me issues. Much more secure.

Nah, i have a HTC one m8, my phone is set to send me location + front camera photo on mail every time the lockscreen is wrong or the pin number, don't see that option on iphone :) you talk security but still it is as secure as the user want's it with a rooted phone.

Haha. Same here; I use CM lockscreen; whenever the person gets the passcode wrong two times it takes a picture with the front camera.
Plus it's super useful; I ask a girl to try to guess my passcode a couple times; and BABOOM I HAVE A SELFIE OF THEM.

If someone steel your phone its gone forever, whatever brand it is. Security, from the time you upload your data to the cloud its public to the workers of the service so im laughting with the security of your phone. Let them browse my data so what, facebook store more private data from users then they phones. Responsibility and safety starts from the user itself.

Finally someone who finally agree's that Apple is overpriced.
I am fine with Apple users, I can understand; it's all about the simplicity and nothing more and nothing less. It makes sense.
But I hate the Apple users that say Apple products ain't overpriced.

iPhone. Hardware is much more secure and I refuse to trust open source software on my phone which every Android phone uses.

Being a pedant is only fine as long as you're being correct. Otherwise, you're just propping yourself up for ridicule.
By definition, iPhone is very much a brand. As is Apple.
If you meant to say that 'Apple' should be on the list instead of 'iPhone' because other brands are represented by their respective manufacturers, say just that. The Nexus owners might sign up for your cause.
