Solve my Riddles to win Half-Life 2! Are you smart enough to best me? (Complete & Answers Inside)

Riddle #1 - You're being bested in a fight. It's time to give up. What do you say?

Answer - Uncle (u). As in, "Say Uncle!" when kids are in a fight. It was also a big line in the film, A Christmas Story.

Riddle #2 - The Soviets are invading New York. You have initiated Red Alert. You need to call Moscow and speak to the Premier, but what Building is he in? (Proper name)

Answer - A reference to Command and Conquer Red Alert 2. Which I hinted at in the riddle itself. The opening cinematic shows the President being notified of incoming Soviet troops. He replies, "You better double-check this with Norad, this doesn't make any sense. I'll call the Kremlin." (K)

OLD Riddle #3 - I am offering the best price of this hit game on the net for 24 hours. It's powered by Steam and crushes Orks. What am I? (Proper name)

NEW Riddle #3 - I am an Actor who played in a popular, cult-classic film released in 2001. I'm looking for my wife's murderer, but for the life of me I can't remember him! I can't even remember the film's name! Perhaps I should tattoo it on my arm. What's MY name? (Proper name)

Answer - The old one was Greenmangaming (G), while the answer to the new riddle is Guy Pearce (G) from the film Memento.

Riddle #4 - I am Disguised by a wrapper so people do not know my true identity. I am weak and malleable, but I am not a Clark bar. You know my first name, but what's my last? (Proper name)

Answer - Clark Kent is portrayed as a weak and malleable identity/character, so he can better fit into society. The two capitalized words, Disguised and Clark is a reference to DC, as in DC comics. Also, Clark is the first name of Clark Kent, the alter ego of Superman. Clark bar was the hint to guessing Clark's last name, Kent. (K)

Riddle #5 - The Spartans had one, but they choose to fight. I hide in the Shadows and the enemies I flee from are Deadly. I have no urge to cut your throat, only your purse strings. What is my Profession? (Proper name)

Answer - Thief. (T) Profession is capitalized because the profession is a proper name. The words Deadly and Shadows were also capitalized to further hint at the answer. In this case the game Thief: Deadly Shadows. The spartan reference is from the film 300, where King Leonidas yells to his troops, "Spartans! What is your profession!?" The reference merely served to hint at a profession, and not the Spartans themselves.

I cant solve parts 4 and 5...
I barely knew what clark bar is lol, hows that related to the character? are we talking about a cartoon? a 'real' movie? I sure dont know his first name.

and question 5 - I looked over sparta's wikipedia page, couldnt find any record of a name referring to thieves.

question 1 - is that an english phrase? latin? french? in case it starts with an "I" like "I give up" is the proper letter I or 'g'?

question 3 - could the movie perhaps had been released at 2000 and not 2001?

What a idiot thinks that Prime Minister (Premier) in Russia works in Kremlin. He works in so called White House. I was writing about it at begining, but it seems that You haven't check it. Don't play C&C because it's making you dumber. ;/ Riddles are fun when you know what are you asking about.

Who said anything about a Prime Minister? I'm sorry, but I can barely make out what you're saying.

Edit - Enough hints were provided for that riddle. "Red Alert" and the "Soviet" invasion of New York are more than sufficient. A simple Google would have revealed the game in question.

I don't know about five. The entire riddle is to get you to come up with a specific profession so saying the Spartan's had 'one' (one being whatever the specific clue is) would make you think they had whatever it is you are trying to guess. I thought context clues were supposed to make it easier not harder q_q

Oh well, thanks for the puzzle anyways!
