Does it happen with any other sites?
Could be a bad actor in the 3rd party ads on this site.

Its been a couple years since pop up from this site has happened to me.
And there was a discussion about it here and then it stopped happening.

does not happen anywhere else, the pop-up only appears on browser and on the giveaways section, does not appear anywhere else on the site

I was getting full screen popups here as well before I started using malwarebytes, it's definitely advertising tied to this site. Just random junk
