Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales | Official Gameplay Trailer

Looks quite good?

Not sure if it will eventually be on Steam but is available for pre-order at GOG.

"Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics.

Crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. Facing an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, Meve is forced to once again enter the warpath, and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge."

EDIT

Now available on Steam

Had my eye on it for a while. Looks good - but let's wait for some reviews.
Will get it on release / have already pre-ordered.
Nah
If it comes to Steam, maybe.
One day - when it's been bundled...

Oh, very nice, thank you!
It looks to be very reasonably priced, too.

Indeed.

Have to admit I didn't expect them to publish it on steam that soon though

CD Projekt Red has never indicated any opposition toward publishing on Steam. For example- as I recall and Google seems to confirm- with the exception of the very first game, all the previous Witcher content (even The Witcher Adventure Game) was released simultaneously to both GOG and Steam.
Rather, Gwent's current exclusivity seems to be a special case, perhaps due to how it integrates into Galaxy. Thronebreaker has some integration with Gwent, which may explain why it was released on Steam a month later than GOG [or it could be indicative of a change in CD Projekt's release policies].

I am hopeful that they eventually release it on Steam. I do want to play Gwent, but I don't want to get a GOG account just for that.

Feel sorry for those that got in from GOG early. It must be to do with regional pricing, but for me it's $12 on Steam and $29.99 on GOG.

Most likely. For me it's 25,89€ on Steam and GOG both.

They flipped that back and now it's $30 everywhere, price jumped by 3x here.

Oh boy. The regional pricing just jumped threefold for my country.

Yep. They put a flat $30 almost everywhere, pretending that our salaries are not 1/5 of what someone in the US makes.
Now it's priced higher here than most $60 games which do use regional prices.

Waiting for it to be bundled took about 4 years it seems. Looks like it'll be in HB as one of three headlines.

That's interesting - had never thought about rules behind reviews in the Steam store. Are you saying they are not allowed to include IGN reviews specifically? I only see them giving review scores, not actual reviews - do you mean the scores are not allowed?
