War or "special operation" in Ukraine have nothing to do with Russia security. Russia has unstoppable hypersonic missiles, the kinja (dagger in english). Russia has also unstoppable hypersonic glide vehicles (the Avangard), which can carry nuke bomb. Russia has also thousands of nuke bombs. If you are worried than Russia may be invaded by foreigners, you have mental issue. The biggest threat to Russia is Poutine himself.

The thing is they have been parading state of the art military equipment for years now (apparently they where supposed to be the 2nd strongest military in the world)
In the end it all turned out to be one huge propaganda and they could perhaps ensure this equipment for 5% of their forces.
Of course I agree - invading most likely wouldn't be possible (due to nukes alone), but most of the stuff they allegedly have most likely doesn't work or is only there as a prototype to show off in parades. So claiming kinjal and avangard would save them is at best wishful thinking. It really would come to no surprise if half of their systems wouldn't even work due to neglect over the years.
It's probably overly expensive as they allegedly have only used Kinjal twice IIRC. And with economy drying up how long could they keep on making these rockets ? It`s overly too much variables to assess this situation from outside.
As for nukes - they have to be regularly serviced to be in working order. No one will be stupid enough to bluff them on that fact alone, but it`s feasible enough none of their warheads would actually work... So the strength of Russia IMO is still questionable.
