No, it's just propaganda. Most likely this has to do with the bad optics presented by the Sy Hersh story. The current regime needs to get some distance from that in time for the upcoming election cycle, so they have come up with this nonsense in order to shift the focus (or blame). For little context - Around November last year new law was passed which stated that driving above 1.5 alcohol level in blood IIRC got your vehicle confiscated from you. It was done in order to increase amounts of fines and hoping that that will make people think twice about sitting drunk at the wheel.
Over the first month 300 cars got confiscated. And police said they have no place to keep all of them. And when asked drunk drivers claim they know what will happen, yet they still sit at the wheel drunk. So the cars got auctioned off on the internet in the beginning. People (and owners as well) could take part in a bid and get the car. Some people managed to score good deals for some of the cars (e.g. get car for 4k which market value is at 6-7k).
Either way with all the support to Ukraine eventually it got brought up that maybe these cars would make more sense as donations to Ukraine. And here we are. First batch is being sent over already this weekend and more are being serviced for later deliveries. They will send not only SUVs but estate cars which could help with evacuation from some places.
Some people are complaining how government can confiscate a car from you, but IMO if you sit at the wheel with 1.5 alcohol level you should forfeit your right to live even. That is extremely drunk and isn't "oh, just had one beer" or "oh damn, must be hangover".. That kind of level is finishing a liter of vodka and driving. Car taken away from them is the least that could have been done. So this way at least the drunk fucker can't get back at the wheel after losing license as he doesn't have the car anymore either.
I personally wholeheartedly support this movement.

Just want to say that since the start of this war I have heard Russia claim on 3 several occasions ( that I know of) that they have totally eliminated all of Ukraine's airforce through their assault.
If this is true then Ukraine's airforce has a "respawn" timer, in which case Russia should retreat since there is no way of winning then.
I can't be expected to just accept this information seeing how it comes from Russia and they have a large benefit by downplaying or overstating certain info.
If you can show me a link where there is visual evidence of these numbers please send it. Because we know how Russia works, someone put a tick on a paper behind 10 tanks destroyed column and it will be send up the line of command as factual.
