yeah thats a kinda of a bug with steamgifts. Same problem with Dota2's spectator client. (could be steam's fault too, I do not know the internals)

is it still installed?

Syncing account doesn't always work but it is the only way to fix it. Support wont help with the issue.

You'll have to wait a bit longer, maybe a week or so. It will eventually go away. There is no way for steamgifts to know whether the game is the original copy or just the temporary free weekend one.

Sync your account when free weekend will end

i have the same problem, but i'd never installed or played, or even looked at it in free weekend :(

The only thing you can do is wait for the free weekend to finish, and then sync your account.

Just say when that free weekend will end I will create some SR3 giveaways

This happens every time when there is a free weekend. You have to wait a few days/weeks. Nothing else to do.

This is why I never sync my account when there is a free weekend game :p

Thats the best thing here on steamgifts... you cant enter giveaways for games you dont own.. best thing ever XD

This is a Public Service Announcement. If you actually play the game you have to wait 2 weeks for it to be removed from your recent playtime games, and once that is done, sync and it will be gone. Those of you in the thread who didn't play the game it should be fixable by synching after the weekend is over. For future prevention always sync during the middle of the week to prevent accidental autosynching on a free weekend.
