Well he had been away from the threaters for 3 years due to health problems. I dont think that Les Luthiers were going to cancel their tour, what a better tribute than acting in memory of their mate.

I had seen just a couple videos of Les Luthiers before, quite funny.
I could only get about 75% of the second video, but even so it was hilarious :D Sad to know that he passed away.

Today Daniel Rabinovich has passed away. For those not familiar with his name, he was one of the members of Les Luthiers since their foundation. I doubt non-Spanish speakers know him, but here are a pair of sketches featuring him (yes, I know, they are in Spanish, but Les Luthiers love to play with the language so many sketches are untranslatable, as in the second video. First video has now English subtitles):
