DotA 2 Vs LoL

League of legends.Dota 2 is way too messed up!+I don't like the art,the stupid traders in the middle of the map,the ugly looking Boss :/ the boring characters...

havent played any of those, a bit of dota 2, i just remember i entered, and i was like 1 hour triying to figure out what the store at our base was suppose to do (it was nothing like the warcraft one) then i launched into battle as a level 2 against 3 level 11 enemies. so just, pick at random

Keep in mind when you are talking about Dota:

The game actually is in a testing phase.

The tutorial is not implemented yet.

As you can see I've not played a lot of league, and did play a lot of Dota 2. Just to make clear that I don't know everything about League.

Really? a poll for this?!Dota is wayyy many times better than LoL. They have so many differences in many things tho, but LoL is good as for an easy way to begin with moba games.

Both are good games, but i've played DotA in WC3 so much that i just like the Dota 2 mechanics more. XD

DotA is for players, LoL is for casual bunnies.

Neither is better, it all comes down to personal preference. If you want faster gameplay and a rather easier learning curve, stick with League of Legends. If you want a more difficult and competitive game with great graphics and gameplay, stick with Dota.

I played LoL for 2 years now, and while the game itself it's pretty good, the rage-kid filled community pretty much kills the gaming experience, but on the other hand, I ain't heard nothing better from Dota community, so it ends up being pretty much the same community-wise.
Still prefer LoL though, Dota 2 doesn't really cut it for me, I hate the little delay every action has

While neither is really my style of game, my experience with LoL was more enjoyable. Granted, I probably gave LoL at least three times as much playtime as I did Dota II. Based on personal preference (which is what the poll was asking for), I'd go with LoL. The aesthetic appealed more to me than that of Dota II. Dota's aesthetic is... a bit bland to me. I also didn't give Dota as much time as I did LoL because I didn't want to learn the proper items and stuff all over again. Both are just a bit too repetitive for me. I don't really understand the MOBA genre's appeal. There are only a handful of arenas. I get that most of the development goes into balancing and new characters (which is important), but variation is good in other ways too. Anyway, that's just my opinion. LoL held me longer than Dota, but I can't say I'd ever jump for joy to play either again. XD
