Hello my pretties. Today we have a lvl 2 giveaway for Moss and it's a VR exclusive! It looks like a very good VR game too so I hope the winner likes it.

So just to be clear: You MUST own a VR headset to play this game.

Please don't enter if you don't have one. I don't know what would be the point of winning a game you can't play.

I may also check your steam library to see what other VR games you have and if you don't have any I'll be asking why you own a $400+ headset with no games to play. And no, those crappy bundled VR games do not count! It would be like owning a GTX 1080 Ti and your most graphically demanding game is Minecraft. That would just look strange.

Also a friend gave me this key so I have no way of guaranteeing it works. If it doesn't I'd appreciate if the winner would be kind enough to delete the GA.

That's all. Enter here and good luck!

is here to stay
is just another fad and will probably fail
is too expensive
doesn't have enough good games
I'll wait until it becomes as awesome as Star Trek's Holodeck

This looks really good. Better then a lot of others. Added it to my Wishlist. No VR set however so I wont enter. I do own a couple VR games. Why? Because I do intend to someday have VR and play them. That why I enter them if they look good. However... In this case you said your preference for existing VR users.. I'm good with that. :)

Good luck to existing VR owners.

I thought about allowing people who were definitely planning on getting a VR headset sometime soon to enter but then anyone can just say yea sure I'll be getting a headset really soon. I'd rather give the game to someone who has one now and can play it and even then I can't be sure they actually have a headset. Sorry about that.

Regardless, you're going to get dishonest people who will enter simply for the +1.
In fact, the first entry I checked has never played a single VR game.

Yes I noticed that too sigh...

No need to be sorry. Next time perhaps. I'm good.

Note. I agree that some will enter anyhow. But you were clear from the very start. If one of them who has no VR set wins. I'd ask for a reroll. You might not get it but I'd ask just in case.

I'm thinking No achievements in any VR game is a good indicator of not having a headset. Worth a shot. Playtime is not an indicator. I have playtime in VR games due to idling. I don't have a headset.

Game looks good so I hope a headset owner wins and plays.

+1 to that, along with OP's idea of owning at least one decent title that has never been bundled or given for free. At least half of the people who've entered so far have the same few obscure VR games with enough playtime to drop cards and no achievements. "4 hours played on Archery Practice VR and you've only got 0 out of of 5000 achievements, huh?" 😒

I have to make a disclaimer here: I live with my boyfriend and he's the one who bought the Oculus and it's on his computer. Although I did get two or three VR games on my Steam account, we play most of them on his computer and his Steam and Oculus accounts..In case I win, I'm ready to provide all the evidence I can to show that I do indeed own a VR set, just to remove any doubts.

Ooooh, I'm a sucker for anything 3D Platformerish so this is right up my alley, insta-wishlist. Haven't been able to play Lucky's Tale with a Vive and the Adventure Time game is the only other thing like it I know of but that's supposedly ridiculously short, like only two small levels short. Thanks for the chance, you're awesome for doing this giveaway!

You'd definitely need to check the winner though lmao, on top of the sleazeballs there's likely been some people who don't speak English that saw a giveaway link and that was all it took

Neither do I VR, nor shall I VR. It is not a thing that interests me, let the whipper snippers play with their new fangled MyBook, and their Twitspace, and their VirtialRealty.

I buy used one try, and go disappointed by quality of image (visible pixels and heavy ghosting) and how poorly is designed from glasses users perspective, who have large head :/
Sell later luckily for this same price ;)
I waiting for gen 3 currently we have gen 1 ;)

Won't enter this GA, but the game does look pretty cool.

Fun thing to consider: if porn games were the main use for VR, you wouldn't have to ask whether the winner has a headset! ducks under desk :D

GalGun VR is the closest thing to that, so I guess there's a market already for that kind of stuff.

As someone who suffers from motion sickness, VR is basically off limits for me :(
But I have heard good things about Moss, so I'm sure whoever wins will enjoy it.

It varies from person to person and the only way to know for sure is to try it. You might be able to tolerate it or you might not or it might not even affect you depending on the game. Most games don't give me motion sickness but a few have and quite badly too. I'd definitely try VR if i could.

I've been staying away from 1st person since the original Doom :P
Tried a few games since, but I get nauseous quite fast and feel feverish not soon after.
Still keen to try VR...I might be able to handle it for a few minutes :P

Thanks! I do own an Oculus Rift, but I only have the games that came with the purchase of the Rift and other free games or games from bundles. But I haven't purchased others besides those. I am interested in Moss, Superhot VR, Talos V for example but I've been waiting for a better sale.

You bought an Oculus but decided not to buy any games to play it with? What games came with it? I guess as long as they're unbundled then it's fine. But I don't understand why someone would spend that much money for the headset and then not buy games for it.

It came with: Robo Recall, Luckyʼs Tale, Dead and Buried plus some others. There are also some good free games or experiences.

SuperHot VR is awesome, provided you have enough space for room scale. I had my doubts, but it was an utterly incredible experience. Just make sure you have enough room, so you're not punching your desk or the window or something.

My favorite, though, was The Climb. Can't recommend it highly enough if you have any interest in rock climbing.

Well, if you don't NEED graphical fidelity, you can get around with some mid-range GPUs. I've got an R9 280 and its good enough for experimenting with VRidge. Intending to upgrade soon though

We have VR in our house and we're thrilled. Most games are indeed short and/or repetitive, but there are some which are definitely amazing. There's a bunch of free apps and games at the moment, so it's really fun to explore.

If anyone is looking for a recommendation, I Expect You to Die is very cool.

I bought an Oculus Rift some 3 months ago and I enjoy using it very much. It's not a substitute for regular "pancake" gaming though, but more of a supplement. With that said, I don't think VR is going to be adopted by the mass market until it becomes cheaper and more accessible.
Thanks for the cool GA!

Thanks for the awesome giveaway.

Barely had a chance to play it, but favourite VR game at the moment is Cricket VR ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/772180/Cricket_Club ). Incredibly good if you're into the sport :)
