Why not just activate them all? I mean, you did buy them all and you don't have to install them all when you activate the keys.
Maybe one day you will be bored and want to try something new; better to have more games than less.

u sure wanna activate dear esther.
cant say abt the other two personally

Hmm well the last 2 comments on this post made kinda revived my interest towards Dear Esther. I mean I can guess people wouldn't like Proteus and Dear Esther because there's isn't much action or challenge. But I like games that can tell a story. Like Thomas Was Alone, the game was easy but the narrative story was interesting. So maybe I'd try out Dear Esther.
If you want, why wouldn't you recommend Dear Esther seeder?

Dear Esther tells no story, even if people tell you it does. Narration contradicts iteslf in a few palces and the only story it establishes is that there was a crash accident that killed the epynomous character. I love games that can tell a story too, but Dear Esther is not one of them unfortunately. It's mroe about looking at nice vistas and soaking in the atmopshere than it is about story.

Actually the reason the story is so vague is that it wants you to base it off your own speculation. It does have a nice story to it but you need to explore every nook and cranny and analyze every line the narrator says. This often takes several playthroughs and I'm assuming you only did one. You also have to have enough interest to continue looking through forums and stuff. But yeah, this game isn't for everyone, especially if you play only once or can't stand holding the w key for a long time.

Can I just say as a huge warning, Tiny and Big will NOT WORK on any Intel graphics card.
I was really looking forward to playing it, too.

Dear Esther is a must. Regardless of whether you like it or not in the end, it'll move your soul, so to speak, and its story is very thought provoking.

Again, you either love it or you hate it. But if you play through the entire thing all of the times taking every route, there's a story that's very good. It depends a lot on your speculation but as you piece together what happened, it's a powerful story with many possible explanations. Granted, you need to be interested enough to have the patience to hold the w key for 75 minutes 6 times or so and you need to go through forums to investigate other theories, it's a good game that'll still be there a long time after you're done. Many people have enjoyed the game and just as many have hated holding the w key for 75 minutes. But either way, it's a game one should not skip over.

I neither love it, nor hate it. I also read most theories and the only thing that is consistent is that the narration contradicts itself in a lot of places (if you read the script, you probably know this already) and the story relies on speculation. That's not a good story in my opinion. I like it when a story's ending relies on speculation based on what happened during the story... that's food for thought. I don't like it when the whole story is based on a framework of speculation with nothing concrete. I don't hate Dear Esther, but i can't really recommend it, especially to those that like good stories. DE does not have a story beyond 'it is what you make it to be', which for me means 'we don't really have a story but you can make one for yourself'.

Dear Esther and Proteus are fairly similar games. They're both about exploring the world and getting immersed in the atmosphere. If you hate one, you'll probably hate the other.
Dear Esther is all about admiring the world that you're in (and it is really pretty), listening to the narration (which is pretty well done), and making sense of the story.
Proteus is all about exploration. It's extremely relaxing and intriguing, yet it avoids being boring. There's more to the world than meets the eye.
I personally loved both games, but it's the kind of thing where you wouldn't want to argue with anyone who claims that they're bad; I can't guarantee that you'll like them, but I can guarantee that there's plenty to like about them.

I bought it specially for Dear Esther but I didnt like it at all, boring as hell.
The one I enjoyed is Little Inferno, completed it in a sit, it was fun.

if you like strategy games then you will certainly like oil rush, little inferno is just awesome if you like playing with fire(I do :D ),tiny and big has nice physics and shit, but the game is really pointless to me and yet had fun playing it,dear ester is not the type of games I play so I haven't tried it yet, awesomenauts is just great if you like MOBA games I mean its something different from DOTA/2,LoL and Smite

Little Inferno is this year's Portal. In fact I'd rate as even better than Portal 2, as high as Portal 1.
I bought the bundle for Dear Esther and even though I knew what to expect from it, I was disappointed, so don't activate that; also the narration of Dear Esther is disjointed and contradictory.

I have to disagree. Little Inferno is fun, but not even in the same postal district of awesome as Portal.

Portal is more clever and funny, obviously (1, not 2... 2 tries too hard to be funny and clever and is neither) but the way the Little Inferno goes meta at the end kind of reminded me of Portal's ending. Of course, my experience is subjective but it's a little game that is really worth it, even for the meta commentarry at the end.

" meta at the end kind " haven't got there yet so my opinion might change.

Well, I tried little inferno. Another pointless game. Where Dear Esther is a walking simulator like stated above, this one is a burning simulator. The only thing there is to do in the game, is find some combinations for burning stuff together, woow. :/

Pretty fun in a burn-things-when-I-am-bored way but I'll be damned if anyone actually bought it for 15 bucks.

I am inlove with Thomas Was Alone, Great game, indeed! But for the other games, Dear Esther is very nice, as well as Lil' Inferno. So yeah, it is worth buying :)

Little Inferno is absolutely worth the activation.

Tiny and Big in Grandpa's Leftovers cool game and I like the soundtrack :D

Well, I only activated Awesomenauts. Other games, I play DRM-Free version since they're single player.
The difference would be Steam have cloud save and achievement (for some game).
Best of all they also provide Linux version for some game I want while Steam don't!
Edit: Now I and couple of my friend at the dorm are solving English Country Tune using the DRM-Free version I got. Real fun!
Stuck on Half-sided, Larva and Whale now. Still don't understand why it's named English.

Little Inferno isn't much of a "game" and hasn't much point but I thought it was a hell of a lot of fun getting to burn all kinds of stuff. There is a story to it and you're supposed to get combos by burning certain things together so I guess there is SOME point. If you don't mind practically pointless games and want to let out your inner pyro for some amusement and stress relief it's super fun. If you want more game play then it might not be for you.

Tiny and big grandpas leftovers is a pretty good game but i find it a little bit boring, little inferno is pretty fun irelaxes me when im playing :3, english country tune is a pretty nice puzzle game but i dont love puzzle games so i found it boring, oil rush is a pretty good tower defense game loved it so much, intrusion 2 is a game like metal slug but metal slug was like a REAL game but intrusion is a flash game so it didnt entertained me as much as metal slug, and about dear esther, not like the other i loved it so much. And im REALLY SURE that its not a walking simulator (we all know that :P).Whatever i recommend little inferno, oil rush and dear esther. (wow i wrote so much things)

Just bought The Humble Indie Bundle 8 and only activated Proteus, Capsized, and Awesomenauts.
I already had Thomas Was Alone and Hotline Miami before the Bundle.
So I'm just wondering if the games that I didn't activate; Little Inferno, Dear Esther, Tiny and Big in Grandpa's Leftovers, English Country Tune, Intrusion 2, and Oil Rush, are worth playing.
Edit 0.5: I'm not much of a game collector. Just want to play "good games" :]
Edit 1: With the many good responses, Tiny and Big in Grandpa's Leftovers will be activated.
Edit 1.5: Hidden poorly? :/
Edit 2: Little Inferno is the next to be activated.
