The logo we have is just a temporary thing, so you do not need to incorporate a steam logo.
We would like either the group name or a symbol representing the group in the logo.
Other than that it's a blank canvas for all you artists!!

Here are some of the main reasons that logos are done in Vector format (i.e. Adobe Illustrator):
They can be manipulated better and offer more creative options;
Can be separated from the background and the elements of the design can be pulled apart;
Can edit the colors quickly
Can be re-scaled to fit a billboard, or a business card, whatever size, without quality loss
and it can be created in outlines so the font never loads differently.

All I have is MSPaint and a mouse. I'm not even going to try. The best I'd be able to do is copy and paste of other works, which isn't allowed for this contest anyway.

Designs can be simple and be more about the fonts and colors than background.
DrM94.. i would recommend to continue trying ideas, but in the end, you do have to submit a Illustrator vector file to qualify.

You can create any symbol or icon you want, there are no limitations in that, but you should incorporate the group's name in it.

Inkscape's native format is SVG... which is a format that is also supported by Adobe Illustrator, but unfortunately, the two implementations are not 100% compatible.
So we will stick with Illustrator vector files.

Having a letter B symbol would be fine for a logo..
Try: making the letter b like a brand logo with the designs around it.
and / or try the letter B above the word Bundlelicious.

hey GoonerGoonz, i can see your trying... just keep thinking of ideas.. neither design is "it", but many times, these sort of things lead one to the right concept.
remember these are small group logos, so they can't be too busy.
Try a symbol with the letter B or a uniform font on Bundlelicious.

In an effort to have the best possible logo for our new group, we are running a
Bundlelicious "Group Logo Competition" here on the Steamgifts Forum!
The winner of the Logo Contest will win a steam game of their choice from the list below:

The rules are as follows:

-Upon selection, the winner must submit editable high resolution source files in ai vector / eps vector formats to receive the steam game.

We are looking for a clean vector based Logo Design that incorporates either the group name OR a symbol representing the group.
The design can be simple or elaborate, you can include the name Bundlelicious in the design OR create a brand logo with the letter B (the name under it or not). We are open to receiving creative ideas from the community.
The current logo is only a temporary placeholder. Use whatever color scheme you see fit.
We are open on design options, so be creative!
For now, before you invest a lot of time, you can do quick mockups and submit links here on steamgifts, by replying to this thread with a screenshots of your logo concepts.
We will give you feedback as these are posted.
After a couple weeks, the Bundlelicious staff will select a few good logos and offer them to our members to vote on. After the group members select a winner, the contest will close.
Start Date is effective today: February 5th, 2014
End Date: To be announced, but we would prefer to select a winner within a couple weeks.
