If someone has an answer, i'd like to read your opinion about kraken pro, asus orion, and logitech g430, or anything else that's in the 60-70€ (or lower) range. I'm not a sound enthusiast, but 'd like a solid and comfy headset with good sound quality for games. Currently have an ozone attack

do you have them? I don't mind if they're heavy as long as they have a good quality and feel solid while wearing them.

I have them and can confirm that they are a bit on the heavy side. But the sound quality is awesome! I use them for both gaming and watching movies and they haven't let me down for a second.

I'm using a Kraken Pro Neon Orange 2.1, it's awesome. You can't really experience 7.1 on a headset, so I'd still go with a 2.1. The Razer Surround has an enable 7.1 option, so if you want it, you can experience it :) It has a really good bass, especially, if you equalize it, so I'd recommend Razer Kraken Pro :)

Release the kraken! Wait... I don't think it's that kind of kraken...

Well, looks like a good headset to me, but I always prefered separate mic/headphones. For the price of this headset you can get headphones with better sound quality + a cheap mic(it's not like you're going to sing to the people you're playing with, right? although when I think of it, there was this guy in Dota2 who actually sung for our team...)

Bought the Roccat Kave last January for 100$, I'm really satisfied with it. Comfortable, excellent sound quality and overall good microphone.

Just buy separate headphones and mic, the sound quality will be better.

^this
bought my self Audio Technica ATH-M30X + Trust Starzz, very great and clear sound quality headphones for 66€/$70, and for the mic very clear sound and with no background noise, even 12-15€ microphone is a big way better than practically any attached mic to headsets. No "Gaming" bullshit, and avoid Razer is overpriced and bad for the price.

With this headphones I said I can hear all deep tones of music which I couldn't before, it gives a really very very good sound quality for all types of music, since it's tuned for mid-range sound, this means it's balanced to all types of music, not like some headphone that are balanced more to Bass than other type.

For the price of Razer Kraken 7.1 you can buy yourself Audio Technica ATH-M40X + Mic, really good headphones with excellent sound quality, if the ATH-M30X are really good as I experienced, then the ATH-M40X are even better, just look at reviews on Youtube of it.

Just get a stereo ear phones or headset. Don't waste your money on 5 inferior loudspeakers/drivers when you can have 2 better better quality ones. Oh, and I've never subscribed to some magazine's/people's reviews that a headset can be good for gaming but not for music.
If it's not good enough to play music in decent quality then it's not good enough. For anything.
