If you haven't done so, you should use an alt Twitter account for Gleam instead. That way, if by any chance Twitter decides to permanently suspend all Gleam-using accounts, you can always create a new one.

Because the SMS spam began, multiple quiz weren't enough of an annoyance; they also had to charge me for those.
Entering to twitter settings and deleting my phone number didn't worked either..
Was wary of the "DISABLE" reply but apparently worked. no more sms spam knock on wood!
Someone somewhere will comment about why not using fake/temp phone # and the simple answer is:
Yeah I did tried, but most if not all don't work (free ones), or have a delay big enough to not be usable for verification, Google Voice only work in the US and also requires a US phone. Pinger too, and so another one I don't remember now.
As you see, I've done extensive research, wasted lots of hours in this and got nothing usable, so didn't had another choice but the real deal, that's how they got it.

Somehow, my alt Twitter account was never blocked though. I guess I was quite lucky in that aspect.

I notice that Steam threw up a notice that gleam.io is being blocked now when trying to login, and then you have to click to continue anyway. Do other people see that?
