(IMO) Part of Vaporwave is that it doesn't have an underlying style. It's a kind of genre where people do whatever they want, & I would say because it's fairly easy to get into. (Download a popular/obscure old song, filter it through free audio program like audacity, then upload as an 'original' piece) There's plenty of 100% original art under this genre, but a big part of it was popularized by Macintosh Plus (And the album titled "Floral Shoppe"), who solidified the retro style & use of other artists work to make something kind of new. The same applies to Vaporwave art & album covers as well (With images instead of audio). Make an interesting retro piece by mashing together lots of stuff original & borrowed. "Aesthetic" is just the word people commandeered to quickly describe the kind of (Indescribable) feeling you get when you look at & listen to Macintosh Plus & other similar artists.

Money is definitely what the goal should be for a commission. I was just pointing out that if you're not even putting up games that are worthwhile, like the newest COD & something else expensive, then you're not really going to get any bites for something like this. A hobbyist might appreciate a way to earn some latest AAA game(s), but if it's something they can already afford (Like a bundle), even a hobbyist won't bother. (Also trading keys for art seems really easy for either party to scam the other, since down-payments & such aren't as much of an option, so there's that too...)
