Daily deals now last 2 days?

So, apparently, now daily deals last two days. While they still pick a new deal every twenty four hours, the sales now last 48.

Kentucky Route Zero was yesterday's daily and still has 24 hours left for its sale.
Marvel Heroes pack is today's deal and lasts for 48 hours.

And sorry if this is old news, I just did a forum search for 'daily' and nothing popped up.
