Topic might not be true. I was just luring you inside because i have a couple general questions. :)

} 1. What happened to these profile badges? I recently got one for contributing, but i could swear i had some before that. Like, years ago. Shouldn't i at least have one for being three years on-board? Those exist, right?

' 2. So, on how many (public!) giveaways you held did the person who won in the end actually leave a comment? (Hard Mode: How many commented something other than a mindless variation of "Thanks"?)

_ 3. On how many public giveaways you won did YOU post a meaningful comment beforehand? :)

~ 4. How many giveaway slots have you wasted so far doing something like: accidentally choosing the normal instead of a complete edition of the game you give away, immediately deleting it and creating the right one?

% 5. Holy crap how did i end up on this list?

Okay the last one is not really a question ;)

Is there no interest in a bit of friendly conversation on a forum? I thought this is what they're there for? :O
Well, i'm being honest about the questions, i'm really interested in some answers to them.

At least the people who entered the hidden giveaway could drop off a comment or two here. ;)

Well i just found it out.

  1. There is profile Badge on Steam gifts???
  2. I never won public give away even giving a comment with 100 - 800 entries
  3. 1/600
  4. I am still new here i will think about giveaways sometimes later
  5. 5 games? 360/5 = averagely giving $72 dollars worth games.. my best guess is Meridian 4 Complete Pack (150P) and other games 210 / 4.

  1. I have no idea about these badges xD

  2. None.

  3. I posted a thanks on my one and only public GA win.

  4. None either, because I haven't made many GAs, though I plan to make more when I have the ability to do so ^^

  5. Good job :D

Also, I can't find the private GA xD

Thanks!

As for Q2: To be honest I don't care if someone is commenting on my public giveaway or not (actually I had 2 about 5 months ago, and now one private).
Anyway, I'm here for bumping the thread for finding the giveaway.

  1. Never knew badges existed on this site maybe its just some chrome/ firefox script people using?
  2. (a). 3 people commented on my public giveaways won the giveaway. (b) none
  3. None (I feel bad)
  4. Probably because of the Dragon Age giveaways

I can't find any hidden giveaway though probably because I am dumb.

Too lazy right now to look for hiddens, but it is really a nice thread especially with all that sudden gem-madness all over forum, so I'll keep a conversation going, even so I don't have much to say on those topics.

  1. If I understand correctly you mean the "SteamGifts plus" addon badges, since the site itself don't have any (or at least I'm not aware of any). As about addon badges - there are only badges for 1 and 2 years membership displayed in their thread, so maybe after hitting age of 3 they just disappearing? So you can admit that you are getting too old, or you can ask addon moderators directly :)
  2. Well, I didn't held that much of a giveaways yet so it's can't count as a statistic, but it's 4:0 at the time. But I've got some fun comments and that's been enough for me
  3. I usually try to post something nice or funny if there is some description that can be commented. I don't post if there is nothing written, but I make a long answer personally whenever I win something.
  4. Again - I didn't make much of a giveaways to make any accidents, so none so far.
  5. By being so nice and generous? :) Congratulations anyway and thanks for your contribution and for original thread!
    Have a good day!

Cool, i'm glad i got some people to comment! :)

I always try to come up with a comment that actually means something instead of a simple Thanks, though i occasionally also just do that -when i really mean it. But there's just so many giveaways you enter, and when it's the 40th giveaway i enter for, like, Tropico 4, i'm eventually running out of things to say. So instead of an insincere thanks (i didn't win the last 40 times, chances are i won't this time, why am i thanking?), i eventually enter without comments and spend the 20 minutes i save every day on household chores.

Then of course, every time i DO win, it's one of the "silent entry" giveaways. :( Though i haven't actually won much so far, so my sample size is small.

  1. As others have said, it's Steamgifts Plus. I lost my two years badge once I hit three years, which means they stopped at two.
  2. 4/25 winners had a comment and they were all some form of "Thanks!" I don't mind. I don't really look at the comments on my giveaways and don't care if I don't get them. I hardly ever comment myself unless the giveaway creator asks a question.
  3. I didn't check this one, but most likely no more than a couple. Quite possibly none. I've never been much of a poster on any forum I go to.
  4. I've never deleted a giveaway.
  5. Grats! Black Friday sales?

Q2. No idea, never checked. Why does it matter? And why would somebody be telling their shoe size or something on the giveaway page anyway? XD
Q3. All of them! :D
Q4. Blasphemy, I check like 5 times before confirming ^^
Q5. It's part of your evil plan to rule the world, I'm sure of it.

Oh huh. I never knew that the Steamgifts Plus addons was responsible for those badges. I've been using it since pretty much when i joined the site.
