Hey, just thought I'd go ahead and make something about this...
At the moment I'm seeing quite a few people making giveaways for the Operation Flashpoint Complete pack, saying in the description that they're also including the rest of the games from the Codemasters bundle or whatever. (Which in my opinion is fine, as long as they do in fact giveaway what is listed as being the given away.)
This is somewhat exploiting the CV system I believe as I don't think that pack counts as a bundle...
However MORE importantly, the giveaways require 55 Points to enter where-as the price on Steam is only $20. (There was something simillar going on with some Bioshock Infinite or Bioshock Triple Pack a while back...)
Not sure if this is on purpose or not, does the site add up all the games prices included in the packs/bundles on Steam for the amount of points required to enter? Because even if that were the case it should only be 30 Points as each game is $14.99

I've had a couple of problems today, one of my giveaways was awared to two users, despite it being a single game giveaway, AND one of my other giveaways which the winner accepted and credited me to giving, is not showing up in my values on my profile. This stuff might be related to the issues on the site, but I dunno...same with what you brought up.

The value is capped. Giving non bundle games increases that cap and gives you some of the missing value, but bundle games won't get you another cent.

Ahhhh I see, well in the case of one of my giveaways...it awarded two winners instead of one. I had to go and actually buy a second copy of the game at full price on Steam...I don't know how it will be handled but by rights, that second winner should give me another 10 dollars...the first was a bundle copy, and if that's the policy then it's fair....just not for the second.

Once a game has been bundled, it will count as bundled no matter where that giveaway copy came from.

Okay not exactly what I wanted to hear, but I can't argue with that logic as it is the rules. lol. I'll know if this ever happens a second time. Thanks for the info!

also you could have messaged support on here and they would have removed the second winner rather than spending $10 on another copy

I'm still waiting on a support ticket from earlier today. I don't know from experience, but I was told you often wait a long time to hear back from them.

once you hit the $30 point atleast, i suggest you read the FAQ, it can seem a bit overwhelming, but i promise you it's worth it

In addition to the value of bundle games being capped at $30 (as others already pointed out), the CV will be "re-evaluated" once the price of a game/bundle on the Steam store changes.

So if the $55 price is fixed, all CV changes accordingly and automagically.

The Price on the Steam Store IS only $19.99 for other people as well right? It's not just me?
