very cool puzzle, but even more so- awesome game. SIMPLICITY! I was a hardcore MUD player from when I was 10ish until about a year ago. after playing one for years, I got the opportunity to take over and run it. After a while of running it, after re-coding 99% of the game a few times, after coming up with about 10 different version themes to keep it fresh, and with MUDs not having the population that it used to (although my game has a very loyal player-base), I had to take a break! I told them I was going to shut down for a little bit and offered if anyone else wanted a shot to run it. (one tried and failed horribly because it was primarily a pvp mud with two distinct sides(which haven't changed in 15 years haha), and the person who tried to take over was from one side, therefor the other side wouldn't trust him because he cheated, A LOT, lol) a text based game is still by far my favorite game I have every played in my life lol. I have never found any game that has given me the same rush I got when fighting other people on that mud haha.
damn, that sure went in a weird direction, plus most wont even know what a MUD is...
I guess this is where people would write TL;DR...
What I was going for before I wrote all of that shit that no one is going to read:
it's amazing that such a simple game can be so awesome like candy box!(and MUDs), and its nice that you don't have to rush it. play a little here, leave it in the background, play some more then repeat!
p.s. havent figured out question 6, the one about multiplying lollipop production by 3.
guess I havent gotten there yet or something, idk.

I just want to say, I know what you mean about text-based games. 13 years ago I was playing Pyroto Mountain, which was based on a BBS from the 80's of the same name. When that game shut down, friends of mine who played the game made new ones. The most recent, running for about 6 years now, is www.ankhet.com. That game has taken up more time in my life than anything I can think of, it has entertained me and distracted me. My steam game backlog is mostly due to the fact that if I had a game open full screen, I'd miss anything that might be happening in Ankhet.

I accidentally loaded an old save instead of saving...

I've been playing this game for the last couple of days. Play the game, take a quiz, have a chance to win something. Go. You have one week, but all questions can be answered without spending too much time. You can probably just leave the game on in the background for a day or two and fast track through everything :P
The usual rules apply - no sharing answers, direct hints, etc. Feel free to talk about game mechanics though. For example, if you click the lollipop the merchant is holding enough times, you can get a discount on lollipop costs.
Giveaway is indie but never bundled (and is not crazy machines, etc).
