Well, I will gladly jump on board of the hype train.. I mean c'mon it's Fallout 4!! (And now the nostalgia kicks in, reminded me of playing the first two ones and made me feel real old.. :)

I don't like Fallout. You may ask why? Simple! I played Fallout 3 on lowest settings and the view was really, really ugly. I know, it's not about the graphics and it's supposed to be a wasteland but it wasn't pleasing to watch ;_;
I hope that FO4 will look prettier so I could enjoy it.

Well, raise the quality. But if you couldn't handle 3 on lowest, what makes you think you could even run 4?
Also, Bethesda games seem to have really low quality textures on lowest settings, luckily I never got the texture slider below high/ultra on any of their games.
PS: Anisotropy set to 16x makes a even bigger difference than low->high textures and on every modern GPU, it has 0 performance impact (Even on an Intel GMA, when updating to the latest drivers)

I should feel bad? For what, for having a weak laptop? It's just that I couldn't handle looking at the ugly graphics. Why would I run Fallout 4? Because I'm going to buy a new PC that would handle it, for sure, but I don't like Fallout games that much. I might enjoy it but not as much as a new Elder Scrolls game and that's what makes me sad.

Well, I didn't get into Fallout 3 myself, I can run the same way as I run Skyrim, but the first time I played it, I was in a hotel at the beach and when I started the game there was a thunderstorm. The game felt so immersive. Then the balcony door broke and I had water on my feet. Never played Fallout 3 again.
The mud on my feet had better textures though, so I guess we both have the same reason

That's the beauty of modders too. Give it a year and you have ENB and 4k textures to fap to. I just want them to concentrate on the gameplay and the world and let the modders apply the polish :)
