You can disable Steam Guard if you really wanted to.
Steam > Account > Manage Steam Guard Account Security > Disable Steam Guard

They need changes, yes. Quite extensive ones in some departments.
Lesser security is not among them, nor it should ever be among them.

Steam secured? I don't think so. If it was so secure it wouldn't be possible to phish for steam logins and passwords through steams own chat. But steam has the most unfriendly customer support up to date, origin beats them with eyes closed.

Steam is probably the highest secured thing on Earth. I've seen online Bank Accounts with less security then what Steam has. I personally think Steam Guard needs to have a way were we can still disable it while still be able to use the market. What would you change about Steam?
