Thoughts on the Steam Game Ban

If they ban people for installing POV mod, I'd better play the pirated version of their game.

Yeah, it actually sucks when you get a ban for modding the game. However, when you buy the game, there is a think that's called "Terms & Conditions" with which you automatically agree, when you buy their game. That petition won't work a bit, don't waste your time. If the devs doesn't want the game to be modded - they can ban you for that, since I think they released a patch that somehow "kills" the modding.

Here ... I will close this thread (and go down forever in infamy) and possibly open a new one that's more to discuss this topic with no petition or anything as I am realizing the petition at present was unjustified and relied on evidence that has since been proven false.

I checked the users that posted these reviews and none of them that I checked had the notice on their profile, meaning that they were not banned with the system Valve introduced, they were just banned on the Rockstar thingy that you use when playing GTA.

I am not trying to justify the game ban system or Rockstar, but what you mention in the description of this thread is not true and quite misleading.
