I'm really sorry man, I know how you feel. My cat died not too long ago, she had been sick for a while, but it's always a shock no matter how obvious it is. And don't let people tell you that it's just a mouse, it's been part of your household and therefor was very important to you. Are you going to get a new pet(mouse)?

Dude, I'm sorry for your loss... I've had a few pets, I had a dog named Becca who died when I was 1, a dog named Danny who died when I was 8 (both were English Springer Spaniels), I had quite a few Tiger Barb fishies (none of which I named) who all died because they would get stuck on the filter.... And then I had horny toads, I had a bird named Pajaro (Spanish for bird) who died because we found him and he had a broken wing and ended up dying while I was at school, and then I had some bunnies, my dog Danny ate like 3 of them (they were babies (which was even sadder)) and so we gave the remaining 2 to a shelter... And finally, we've got Molly, my nine year old Beagle... She's my best friend... If we forget to put her in her cage at night, she will come curl up in a ball next to me... She makes a great pillow...

Sorry to hear that...always a big bummer when any animal or person dies that your close to.

Still keeping an eye on this thread. Just realised I didn't pass on my own condolences. The people that say "it's just a mouse" are fools who don't understand what a pet actually is. Ignore them.

I've had so many tiny critters as pets, so I fully understand that you do grow to love them and you do get very attached, even though people might often go "it's just a rodent, no big deal". Their deaths are always devastating, especially if you happen to witness it. Best thing to do is to try to take comfort in the fact you gave them a good life and lots of love and affection.

Some might say "It's just a mouse", but whatever. She was part of this household. She got sick recently. We took her to the vet and got her some meds, but it wasn't enough or too late. She didn't seem to be getting any better, and today I could tell she was getting worse. We heard her make a noise from her cage, so we went over there, and she had a seizure and died right in front of us... terrible to see and to feel so helpless. That part was over pretty quick so hopefully she did not suffer too much. RIP Chauncey.
Maybe seeing someone really enjoy winning a giveaway will help cheer me up a bit... so here we go. It's a bundle game, but one that I really enjoyed and has cute animals.
