Is there more to it than just playing the notes? As I did that multiple times, as written, also trying just bars 3-4 or bars 5-6. And it always showed incorrect code? So am I correct to assume that it is not just about playing the notes as written?

From what you're describing I think you might have missed that you're looking at the notation of two voices over 4 bars. There is no 5th or 6th bar.

I'm pretty sure I'm playing the notes correctly but no luck.
Edit: I was missing one minor point about how a specific part of the notation works, in hindsight I knew something sounded slightly off.
